Discovered this spot by accident one night and have been back several times since then. Food is great and very filling (especially enjoyed their ramen and sushi lover combo), prices are affordable, and service is always fast. No complaints!

This is the best value and quality neighbourhood sushi bar you can get! The service is always friendly, food is quick to come and take out never disappoints. I always order party trays for our gatherings and we’ve always had a great fresh sushi for each time.

We went there to get some Ramen, made a mistake. This place is rated like 4.5 and it's clear to me that a lot of these reviews are either family members or yokels. The ramen was really poorly made. The broth was fishy tasting and smelling. The pork belly (chashu) was cold, so we're the eggs. The broth was so so in warmth really weird. They don't do double noodle either which is absolutely bizzare and I've heard of a ramen place NOT doing that. The maki rolls were ok but strangely deep fried in tempura inside, the rolls brought the review up to a 3. Anyways the rolls were the highlight. Would not come back.Always be aware and wary of a place the has 1 out of 5 stars as the second or 3rd most prevalent rating. This is a telltale sign of review manipulation

The sushi is good but the miso supe is amazing the intiror is quaint and quiet. They also have a lunch special that you can have a combo for only $11. The customer service is average.

Have been seeing a lot of interesting new food trends out of Japan. Was interested in trying Miso soup and chicken katsu curry.I had seen panko crusted chicken cutlets fried golden brown cut into slices with a darker curry sauce drizzled atop. What I received at this restaurant was something more like grandma’s rice and chicken stew with lots of carrot and onion in a bowl. There was rice atop four slivers of chicken, the width and length of shoestring French fries.Every bite was the same, just like a mixed stew. The curry sauce had the right colour but the curry powder was barely perceptible — I guess I could have asked for $1 extra curry. For $17 or so, a meal, this was quite overpriced for what was presented, unfortunately. Maybe $4 of ingredients went into making this bowl…likely less. For the second meal, the portion was small and the char sui pork slices tasted off. Sorry! Seemed preserved, not like cut from a freshly roasted or barbecued pork roast.I think the restaurant should focus on the very brisk sushi side of the business. Seemed like that is what everyone but us received. Takeout was steady. ….Or look at what foods people are seeing come out of Japan right now. It’s not small dainty dishes with little texture and neutral tastes.
