Exactly what I wanted this place is BOMB
The chicken was decent and a bit dry my first visit and the next time I went the chicken was completely dry. Friendly staff though.
Same great quality, previously known as John's BBQ Chicken. We love that that recipes stayed the same and the staff are even friendlier than before! Favourite Portuguese food around.

I love this little place! All of the food there is absolutely delicious. I've been a very long time customer of this restaurant and it's by far my favourite churrasqueira. Staff are super friendly and you really can't go wrong there.
We ordered 5 chickens, a large rice, large potatoes and salad. Sauces were good. Amount of food was incredible. Fresh and Hot. Everything tasted amazing and the staff were helpful. I would highly recommend
I’ve been a customer for johns bbq for many years and never had no complaints. The new owners do not make there food with love very rushed over cooked potato’s hard, burnt and not cooked threw. Very disappointed.
Drove all the way there as they are open till 7pm. The owner opens come to the door and slams it in my face saying they are closed while 8 people are in line waiting to be served. That's pretty Disrespectful. Maybe change your hours and turn off the open sign online so people don't drive 20 minutes ans wastes time and the signs shows they are open.

Pretty much the same as John BBQ. If you were a fan of John's, there's no reason not to go to Maria's. One of the few Portuguese chicken places in Oakville that offer both rotisserie and BBQ. Fish fillets still very good.
