I finally got a chance to pop into Mercato and I was blown away with how amazing the food was. I tried the veggie sandwich and a slice of red pepper onion pizza and omg this is the best pizza in downtown Oakville. Maybe the best pizza EVER. Grabbed a cannoli on my way out that was also so fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back!

Mercato Sociale is a not so hidden gem right in heart of Oakville. Incredible grab and go selection of sandwiches, pizzas and pastas that were authentically Italian and so fresh. Be sure to save some room and get the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Super friendly counter staff and quick service. Will be back for sure!

Fresh ingredients. I loved the Margherita pizza, and the sandwiches were great, too! My new go-to spot in Oakville for pizza slices! Just a personal note: I think playing Italian songs, instead of mainstream radio music, can make the experience feel more authentic.
