Great food but prices have increased unreasonably. The shrimp tempura is now 5.50 PER shrimp. They used to be 3.00 earlier this year. That's almost 100% increase.

I find this over the top...but food is very good

Been to Mye a handful of times now and each visit has been great. Many gluten free options as well

Delicious sushi, well priced and the atmosphere is upscale and sophisticated.

Came hungry and left hungry. They don't do the thing where they yell Irasshaimase when you walk in.

A long standing favourite restaurant for good reason. Beautiful, delicious food. Lots of authentic options.
The spicy salmon rolls are not too spicy with a small portion roe inside and salmon on top. The Oh mye! Rolls are one of my favourites with sweet and spicy sauces to compliment the flavors.

Our server, Mari, was excellent. Swift and excellent service, and very kind as well.
Great experience

Got the low quality food at a higher price. Waited for nearly 50 minutes for just three sushi rolls, slowest restaurant ever.

Thank you very much for your response.

First and foremost, I would like to express my sincere appreciation for offering me an available, non-reserved table when I arrived without a booking.

Secondly, I would like to apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the timing. As you correctly pointed out, the chicken took approximately 25 minutes to prepare. However, in my feedback, I was referring specifically to the sushi, which took around 40 minutes(as you mentioned) to be served.

Lastly, I hope you can understand that my evaluation of the overall dining experience inevitably takes price into account. When a meal costs $100 but offers an experience more aligned with what one might expect at half that price, it’s difficult not to factor value for money into the overall impression.

Thank you again for your attention and understanding.

The restaurant repeatedly promotes its “good quality food,” but from what I experienced, the quality was seriously lacking — both in terms of flavor balance and overall execution. Simply using expensive ingredients or serving oversized portions doesn’t equate to good food.
The smoked salmon roll contained raw onions, which completely overpowered the subtle smokiness of the fish. This combination felt random and unbalanced — raw onions bring a sharp, harsh flavor that clashes with the delicate taste sushi is meant to highlight. In traditional Japanese cuisine, ingredients are selected to
complement, not compete with, the main element.
The lobster roll and mye roll were equally underwhelming. Despite featuring premium ingredients like lobster, the flavor lacked depth or structure. I honestly couldn’t tell what was supposed to taste good in those rolls.
Moreover, the rolls were far too large, making them awkward to eat and completely devoid of the elegance and restraint that define good sushi. Oversized sushi often sacrifices finesse for show — and that was certainly the case here.
If the restaurant genuinely wants to offer high-quality sushi, I’d strongly recommend focusing on the basics: ingredient freshness, thoughtful pairings, balance, and precision — rather than gimmicky combinations or overwhelming portion sizes.
I’ve dined at high-end sushi restaurants in Japan, and I’ve also had plenty of sushi in North America. Out of all my experiences, this was the worst sushi I’ve had to date.

Found this little gym in our neighbourhood. My friend and I had lunch here and met the owners son who had taken over the reigns from his dad, running the restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended and I will be coming back again for sure :)

Everyone at the table remarked how good the food was. Apps, sushi, sashimi, rolls, we had it all, and nothing disappointed! Will return for sure.

Pretty underwhelmed. We came in at 8 PM on a Friday night for a birthday dinner reservation. No one approached our table for about 25 minutes after we arrived and halfway through dinner we were brought the bill with no acknowledgement of dessert or the birthday. When we asked about dessert, we were told the only thing was available that was ice cream and that they needed to shut down their computer system. I would’ve expected better for almost $100 a person for dinner with one drink each.
