We have visited to this place for many times and love its food quality, quietness, and service. There are many Japanese restaurants out there, and Mye is one of our favorites. Been waiting for its reopening for so long but I heard from Mye2’s staff saying Mye is going to be permanently closed. What a pity... this places will be missed by a lot of people.

Outstanding food!! Mo has his hand in all that quality coming out of that kitchen! Lucy and Joan always make me feel very welcome and at home. Pricey but that is expected with fine dining. My favourite restaurant. Make reservations to avoid disappointment

We had our company xmas dinner here, the food was absolutely amazing!

Thank you Mye for another delicious meal. The food at Mye is easily on par with the best Japanese restaurants in the GTA, though unlike most high end Japanese places where everything is a little over the top (though I love those too) Mye is relaxed and laid back, more like perfectly executed Japanese home cooking. Service could be a touch faster, but the food is more than worth the wait.

Tooooooo noisy, more than pub.

Freshest sushi I've had in years!

Snobby, pretentious, bright, terrible service, unfriendly, food sub-par for the price. There are far superior sushi restaurants in Oakville!

I’ve been to a lot of higher end sushi restaurants. This place does not compare. WAY OVERPRICED for what you get. Half the sushi you get are nothing you couldn’t get at an all-you-can-eat sushi place. Plus told us they ran out of white rice. What kind of sushi restaurant runs out of rice?! Will definitely not be going back to this place.

A tranquil Japanese dining spot in downtown Oakville. Subdued interior where food is the focus. Had a wonderful dinner here with many teriyaki selections available. I had the edamame then salmon teriyaki while my wife had sushi and lobster roll, ubiquitous miso soup to begin. Professional staff, pleasing presentation. Not sure if prices are competitive because Japanese restaurants tend to be pricey but worth it. Two locations in Oakville. Limited parking in lot or metered parking available nearby.

You won’t find quality like Mye anywhere else in Oakville. It’s the best in every way.

Great to get back to the best sushi in Oakville. Always fresh, make to order, friendly staff. Was great to go back. It'll become a regular lunch spot

We came for lunch. Authentic Japanese cuisine. There were four of us and we enjoyed the tempura udon and salmon teriyaki. Limited parking available and they were very busy at lunch although not full. will come back again to try their sushi

I was excited to take my son there for his 18th birthday since we always go for sushi on his birthday. I have been to Mye before years ago but it was his first time. We both agree that as far as the food goes the portions are very small and very overpriced for what you get. Also the sushi menu has no descriptions or photos so you have no idea what your are ordering unless you keep bothering the waitress to to explain what is in the sushi. Many of the dishes were tasteless including the watered down dipping sauce. He can't drink so for one glass of wine, appetizers and sushi with no dessert it was over $100. Neither of us were full but agreed we weren't paying anymore. We have both eaten at many sushi places and there are far better places such as Ami in Oakville. We will stick with Ami where the sushi is better and about half the price. We won't be back to Mye!

I had high expectations because of the reviews but was a little disappointed. We went for lunch. The food was ok, not bad but not the best I’ve had. I think it has something to do with the plating/presentation. I’ll post pics and you be the judge.
