I went for lunch around 2 pm on a Wednesday with a friend as i have always wanted to out try this place. It's a really pretty restaurant with beautiful decor and ambiance. Unfortuately the service is terrible. I went around 2 pm, it was not busy and our server after giving us food just disappeared. My friend has nut allergies and she got a reaction to walnut which was not suppose to be in that dish. That's redflag right there. Dining at Narenj Cafe and Restaurant is an extraordinary experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with elegant decor that makes you feel right at home.

My daughter and I visited Oakville and chose to brunch at Narenj based on Google photos. What a delightful surprise to enjoy a perfectly created shakshukas and delicious tea on a patio filled with various tables, each with its own character.

Narenj is a unique and fantastic spot with delicious food and outstanding service. The taste and presentation of each dish, including Turkish hummus, halloumi, and French toast, are excellent. The relaxed atmosphere with greenery creates a great vibe, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is beyond amazing, fresh, authentic, and full of flavor with generous portions. The owner looks after the customers with utmost care, and the incredibly friendly and attentive staff make you feel right at home. The restaurant serves wonderful breakfast and brunch options, such as the Gerdoo, a shakshouka with brisket, and the Mitzi, a fluffy peach oatmeal pancake, which have received high praise from diners. Narenj is truly a hidden gem and one of those places you can’t wait to return to.
