**Beware** The owner of this place emailed me saying I owed them money when I made a reservation for 10 people (14 originally but then only 10 rsvp). Due to unforeseen circumstances only 7 could make it on the day of. The server advised it was not an issue and only charged us for 7 people. The service was amazing. The place is beautiful and food was fantastic.
After we were long gone I received an email and phone call from the owner saying I owed money for 3 more people. I advised if I had been told that at the time I would have paid for the three extra people and asked for the tea and food and service I was paying for. But I did not receive the extra 3 people’s food or tea.
The owner told me that because of the mistake of a minimum wage employee he would be out of pocket. Again I explained I would have paid if I had received the food and service. Which I did not. He then said he was going to fire his server and I said that would be upsetting. He took it back and we ended our phone conversation. The way he talked about his employees were disgusting and disrespectful to say the least.
Please be careful when dealing with the owner. The staff are lovely and even sent a follow up text message thanking us for coming.

All savories and dainties were amazing. Excellent staff and gorgeous work on the space to bring out its beauty. The team clearly takes pride in the work. We had a wonderful time for our anniversary tea. We'll be back for gelato for sure haha

I ordered two flavours of gelato: S’mores and chocolate something (I forgot the full name). The S’mores was very mild and tasted a little nutty. I could not distinguish marshmallow/graham/chocolate flavours. Didn’t see chocolate in it and in hindsight I wonder if I was given the wrong gelato or if it was mislabelled. The chocolate gelato was very mild also, not at all what I expected.

We were very excited to be able to support a black, female owned business. And it did not disappoint! We had an amazing & unique girls day. The teas were delicious as were the finger foods. Highly recommend the toasted almond tea and the lemon gelato. Service was great, staff were extremely helpful and attentive. Worth every penny, we will definitely be back.

I love coming here for high tea. Everything is always impeccable. Their servers, Jada and Jayan enhance the atmosphere with their warm, welcoming personalities. And the bonus? Bliss gelato is available here! Perfect for catching up with the girls, whether 1:1 or larger groups. I’m sure you will love it too!

The location is quaint. Parking was a little difficult as the surrounding parking lots were full. The service was wonderful. I do wish the restaurant had more people to make the atmosphere more lively however, the experience was lovely.
I really appreciated the concept of how the tea was presented—it was a nice idea. However, the place itself didn’t feel suitable for such an experience. The vibe was too dark, with the colors and decorations giving off negative energy. To make things worse, the place felt unclean, which left me questioning how I even trusted the food. Overall, it was disappointing

Cute place. Food tasted very fresh and good. Took an hour for our towers to arrive, even though the majority is pre made. Tight seating as well. Wouldn’t recommend this as a meal. More like a treat between meals.

I ordered the tea in a box. When I got home and I opened the box it was missing some of the items described in the website, such as the fresh fruit and the creamy Camembert with black olives. I did receive an extra loose leaf tea as a courtesy. The loose leaf teas tasted very nice. Overall the rest of the items in the box were fine. I would suggest adding a wider variety of items.

Three of us went to Nyla’s room on Saturday, November 16th for a birthday treat. Absolutely wonderful! Best scones I’ve had, texture-wise, after visiting many tea rooms in Ontario. Clotted cream was home made. The sandwiches were very well made too. There were other baked goods for sale and I highly recommend the apple strudel. Our server was very attentive to all of our needs. Looking forward to returning soon.
