I went there today to order the same thing I always order, I had to pay meter to park on the street nearby the cafe, before I left I checked the meter and it shows 33 mins(including 2 mins from the previous car leftover) and it was only less than 1 min walk to the cafe. After I placed the pesto cheese sandwich and latte, I waited and waited, I noticed there was a new girl staff there, I understand the male owned might have to do on job training to his new staff. But after 25 mins, I went out to put another $1 to the meter, and it shows 5 mins left on the meter. And after I went back inside. After a min or 2, my order finally ready, I told the male owner, it took really long time for this order, and he said it took time to make this pesto cheese sandwich sandwiches not my first time to go there, this time they took 27 mins to make this order while there were only 2 tables of customers there and they already enjoying their drink and food. After 5-10 mins, the male owner came and apologized and said it was only 18 mins with a smirk!! And told me next time when I come the drink will be on them. I told him I don’t need it because his apology wasn’t sincere because he told me a lie about the time he took. I didn’t want to accuse him so I called my credit cards company and the transaction was made at 12:52, and I took this picture at 1319. It was 27 mins! The latte was warm not hot because he was taking super long time to make this super simple sandwich! After he came to me and I lost appetite to eat or drink, so I left half cup and little more than half sandwich! I always try to support local shop but if u can’t provide a decent service, don’t think I would want to visit there again!

When I first stopped in, I was looking for coffee shops that might want to showcase local artists. Right from the start, the owner Mila was incredibly kind and welcoming, seriously just the sweetest soul. She loves helping local artists get their work out there, and there’s new art on the walls almost on a monthly basis!
I was able to showcase my photography for a month, and it was the best experience working with her. She was encouraging and communicative, and just so lovely all around.
The cafe itself is beautiful inside with all the greenery, and the coffee is to die for. The cortado and the Iced Strawberry Matcha are my absolute favourites.
Whether you’re a local artist looking for a beautiful space to collaborate with, or someone who just needs a cafe with some incredible coffee and goods, you must check out Oak Cafe. This is as genuine of a review as they come - Mila and Oak Cafe deserve all the recognition.

Oak Café Gallery is a charming cafe in south Oakville. I’ve been there a couple of times, and the coffee has been excellent on each occasion. The service is warm and friendly, and they bring your order to your table. Their coffee menu is quite extensive. The cafe has a very charming atmosphere as they display some of the artwork of local artists. It’s not too busy and noisy, so it’s a great place to catch up with someone over a cup of coffee, or maybe even to just pause and enjoy a quiet moment by yourself. I would highly recommend this cafe!

Such a wonderful local gem! The owner was so sweet and the coffee was amazing. It's super vibey and cozy inside - it's really clean and the decor and plants were beautiful. Lots of choices for drinks and they had dairy free alternatives available. She even came by to check in on us and brought me some honey to put in my coffee!
