I have been several times and has always been a great experience. This time I had shepherds pie ( my all time favourite meal) it was excellent only bested my own shepherds pie and once in Calgary 45 years ago I was at the Unicorn owned by the Irish Rovers band. I will be back in a few weeks. I even ordered shepherds pie from Palermo to take home, don't know if I can wait e few weeks

The food was excellent. Found out the cook who made our food was name Michale. Service was fast & friendly. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant.

Came here to meet my girlfriend for lunch today and as I was parking, the owner came out the door and yelled “you can’t park here”. I understand that he has many people parking on his property to use the medical clinic across the road, but this is no way to speak to a customer. I’d rather meet her down the road at Harpers Landing. Cheers.

It takes two things to make a dinner out successful. Great service and food! Throw in a decent ambience and you have our recent trip to Palermo Pub. Helena was an excellent server!!! Loved the Hawaiian pizza and wings!

Everything at the Pub was outstanding. The environment was serene and very relaxing. Their fries called my attention, from a distance. Their doughnuts were very sumptuous also. Overall the Palermo pub is an amazing place.
We ate on the heated patio and it was great. Food was tasty classic pub food and good portions. Would recommend!

Had to step in after reading that ridiculous review from initials 'DP'. The 4 brown guys at the bar yesterday had a laugh when we heard about that review. The ladies are fantastic, the wings are so good, I've had friends from far and wide come through with me and the place is fun. Some people walk around with antennas up looking for issues, fearful of every person coming around every corner. That person (DP) said more about himself than he did about Palermo Pub.

Firstly, I acknowledge your right to offer a review of the food and effectiveness of the service at the restaurant. That is between you and them.
But, I am here to say that your characterization of the restaurant as racist is patently uneducated, uninformed, seemingly impulsive, dangerous and more importantly an irresponsible use of the privilege and right of any discriminated communities recourse to call out discrimination.
I am a brown man who calls Palermo my home pub. And I will share with you that I am one of many brown men and women who do the same. And more importantly, this community is compromised of many more humans of every race, ethnicity, age group, socioeconomic status, etc. who do the same. And we have for many years. And we have done so because the staff and patrons there have contributed to an environment that makes us all feel welcome and safe.
I acknowledge you may have had a bad experience. Fair enough. Over the course of our lives visiting restaurants we are bound to have poor experiences. And if you choose to express your opinion of that experience you owe it to yourself, your readers and the restaurant that you do so with maturity and professionalism. Especially to offer a review that is based on fact.
I can acknowledge that racism can occur in a moment. But to assign that label to Palermo requires you to provide more supporting data than you have offered. Because I can assure you, as a brown man, I will defend every single individual here. And based on your statistical approach to this, there’s more of us than you. Therefore Palermo Pub is NOT racist!
This is a community pub/restaurant and we will all defend the integrity and genuineness of this place. I encourage you to step out from behind your keyboard and come by again. My name is Ravi, ask for me. I don’t live far and I will show up. I will gladly take the time to share my experience of this place with you and hopefully allow for a more positive experience for you and your family should you decide to return.
