Pescaraa Restaurant & Venue

Went this past Saturday for dinner with my girlfriend. The food was outstanding, we had the chef special which was spaghetti with a creamy truffle mushroom sauce with grilled shrimp and scallop. By far that was the best tasting dinner we both had in a while. The chef came out to ask if we are enjoying the meal, was very friendly. As was the rest of the staff. Beautiful restaurant with a really nice atmosphere. Definitely will be coming back :)

Visit Oakville and popped into this restaurant because of the reviews, big mistake!!! Waiter who was a bartender for 15 years made us a Lychee Martini (horrible with no lychee) did not tell us about the specials so my wife missed out on the short ribs, My wife had mushroom risotto which was over salted and I had chicken parmigiana with spaghetti. The spaghetti was under salted and tasteless and the chicken was raw in the Center, the waiter came over took my plate, came back and said the chef confirmed that the chicken was raw🤦 because we really needed to have a debate if the chicken was raw. They did comp the meal however the chef nor the owner came over to apologize or at least have a conversation, they sent the waited (cowards) hopefully I do not get sick tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

We visited for the first time and are frequent diners at many fine dining restaurants. The service was exceptional with special mention to Raquel. The ambience was very nice and the service outstanding! The personal attention and care was second to none. I had the Chilean sea bass as a main and scallops as a starter. Both were delicious!

Absolutely incredible restaurant! My boyfriend and I found this while driving down the street and it was SUCH A GOOD find! The food was incredible! Takes you back to Italy and the service was amazing! Felt at home and the interior was so nice! The waitress was also kind enough to pack my leftovers for me (not something I experience regularly). Highly recommend you to go because we were pleasantly surprised!

A hidden gem in Oakville, we went for date night and it was a pleasant experience, food was delicious, started with beef carpaccio, Caesar salad and seafood platter, following by a classic tiramisu and crème brûlée. Raquel went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect! Thanks!!!
Forgot to mention that music was amazing!

Raquel was out server and she was astonishing, John Pierre was our chef and the food was the best we've had in nearly a decade. The price was perfectly worth it, especially the platters. Perfect place to celebrate an event, as we did.

This restaurant is a "must visit" in Oakville. I'm not a review writer usually, hence no pictures to share, but we had the octopus and sausage, oysters, and mussels. I have to let people know that they owe it to themselves to eat here. The oysters were "off the boat" fresh and the house made accompanying sauces were exceptionally good and not overpowering to the oysters. The octopus was beautifully prepared and tender, the mussels as well. Everything was balanced and flavourful, but not overpowering the featured ingredient. Service was attentive without being intrusive and genuinely friendly. Put it all together and this visit made our day.

The place is wonderful...inspiring! The service was excellent, and coincidentally it was a Brazilian, Flávio, who was very kind, with all his Minas Gerais personality, which is characteristic of being welcoming. He suggested the halibut, which was divine ? Thank you Pescaraa. I'll be back soon!

A gem in the heart of Oakville! My husband and I dined here yesterday for lunch. A rare find! Absolutely everything was perfect…from the Brazilian Sangria, plating, delicious food, (we had the seafood platter for 2, which by the way included 2 meaty lobster tails) the coffee, creme brûlée, attentive and friendly customer service and atmosphere. 10/10! A MUST TRY. This eatery will be a returning favourite for sure! There is also a lower level lounge which plays host to live music on Fridays and Saturdays. Very much worth the drive from Guelph!
