they put onion slices in ramen and refuse to take them out and would give you chopsticks for you to pick those our yourself lol. and according to staff it's “normal” to put onions in ramen and they've been doing it ever since it became a ramen＋Pho place. after I asked for another bowl without onions they gave me a bowl without green onion or bean sprouts and it was semi warm (aka not hot). their staff also had terrible attitude, they only agreed to gave me a new bowl because I asked them to call the owner. and blamed everything on me - “I shouldve let them know i don't want onions in Japanese ramen”. I have also been a customer since 5 years ago and their quality has never been that good, it's probably only still surviving because the lack of Asian food in this area. my suggestion is just don't come.

A great little place with effort put in all over the place. Food was good exactly as you'd expect. They were out of a couple of items, but they suggested some substitutes, which were just as delicious and anything that's got a statue of captain levi, it's always gonna get top marks for us.

Did the lunch special for $18.99 which includes a main, side, and drink. Definitely good value for money. Got a hot (spicy) ramen and pork dumplings. Ramen wasn't spicy enough for me and lacked a bit of flavour but it was fine after I added a ton of chili garlic oil. Dumplings were ok. Recommend for lunch if you want something cheap-ish and filling but nowhere near the best ramen I've had.

this is the only restaurant I've eaten at that I could eat the exact same meal every day and never get sick of it. I recommend their signature ramen, I order the number 103 and usually have it 4 days a week. after having the same meal 200 times it tastes as good as ever.
My wife and I were here while we left our son at little kitchen to play the kitchen stuff and learn how to cook.
The noodles taste is ok. She ordered shiyo tonkatsu ramen while I order chicken black ramen.
The cooking method for my bowl (chicken) was plain . Not much marination done on the chicken. Also, for both bowls we find that the kelp seaweed was missing.
The atmosphere is not great because some lights were off. Not much service but interaction.

Did not get steak. Paid 21 dollars for cheap beef. Total scam. Workers are very rude and talk behind your back in a different language. The worker laughed as she watched me eat the “beefsteak” is was simply a cheap cut of beef. VERY BAD RESTAURANT and will never be coming back.

First understand that this place does not have servers or waiters - its more of a cashier system and they will deliver your food to the table but they are not going to keep checking on you. The Tonkatsu/pork bone broth is extremely flavourful and the portion is enough to fill you even if you are hungry and/or large. They might do better with a quick and cheap lunch option but I still come when I need to get away from the office for an hour at lunch.
