Riyasat Indian Restaurant & Bar - Oakville

This restaurant was previously called Riyasat. The food, both veg and non-veg, is really good, and the service is as well. They cater to different spice levels.
The Amritsari fish was crisp and fresh. I enjoyed the methinks malai mattar a lot- it is not something I usually order. The pav bhaji tava rice I had for the first time, and will order it again.

Stopped by on weekday night, we were probably one of two families eating- veg manchurian was served cold, we kept waiting for over 15 mins for the server to return just to inform them of the cold manchurian, lemonade had way too much chaat masala making it hard to drink, asked for medium spice level but it was extremely spicy , server was polite but the food was very disappointing.

We went there yesterday and did lunch there that's so delicious. Moreover, the service is very good and staff treat us very well. The thing that I mostly like there was the service provider prabh. She is very nice and polite .

Really enjoyed our dinner at Spice and Saffron! The variety was impressive and the quality of the dishes was top notch. I recommend trying the Lal Maas curry, and the chilli chicken momos!

The staff and owner were warm and engaging and made the experience great!

A True Gem of Indian Cuisine – Spice and Saffron is a Must-Visit!

From the moment I walked into Spice and Saffron, I knew I was in for something special. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and truly transports you to a different world. The subtle instrumental music playing in the background adds a peaceful charm, and the interior is absolutely stunning – from the starry, twinkling roof to the beautiful paintings and traditional Indian décor that reflect the rich cultural heritage of India. Every detail feels thoughtfully curated.

Now, on to the food – and oh, what an experience! Every dish we tried was a masterpiece. The Malai Soya Chaap was unbelievably tender and creamy, and the Khasta Samosa Ragda had the perfect balance of crunch and flavor. The Lamb Palak was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, while the Paneer Tikka Anardana was tangy, smoky, and absolutely addictive. The Mix Veg and Dal Makhni were both comforting and full of depth. Paired with the perfectly crisp Laccha Paratha and soft, fresh naan breads, every bite was a joy.

To drink, the Mango Lassi was refreshing, beautifully presented and just sweet enough. And for dessert, I can’t recommend the Shahi Tukda enough – a rich, indulgent end to a flawless meal.

Beyond the food and ambiance, what truly sets Spice and Saffron apart is the exceptional service. The staff is incredibly kind, generous, and attentive – they go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience without ever being overbearing.

Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, Spice and Saffron is a place that will exceed your expectations. I’m already looking forward to my next visit – this place is a true culinary treasure!

What a delightful visit I had to Spice and Saffron! The restaurant boasts a wonderful ambiance, creating a comfortable and enjoyable dining atmosphere. I really appreciated the music selection, which was perfect and added to the great vibe without being intrusive. And of course, the star of the show: the fresh food. Everything was incredibly flavorful and clearly made with quality ingredients. With its excellent location, Spice and Saffron is definitely a spot I'll be revisiting soon.

My recent dinner at this restaurant was an absolutely delightful experience!
From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The food was awesome – every dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being intrusive.

The location is fantastic, perfectly situated near the lakeshore in a charming neighborhood, making for a lovely stroll before or after dinner.

This place is very clean and well organized. Manpreet does such an amazing job!

We visited them during the weekend and it was a very good experience. The Chef and Staff including Manpreet were very accommodating and made sure that everything was upto our likings.
