After being closed for a few months, they’ve renovated and the inside decor is so tasteful and creates an amazing ambiance!
On top of that, the plating and quality of the food has gotten exponentially better. I’m not sure if it’s new management or what, but the appetizer platter blew my whole family away. There was such good variety and great prices. They were very quick to refill our waters, clear plates, and the manager or supervisor came to say hello!
After being regular Spoon & Fork customers, and impressed with how much they’ve evolved, we opted for their $50 annual membership. I recommend everyone that hasn’t visited since their reno to pop in!
Vegetarian options: Lots of options.

New reopening comes with a new ambiance, but not to mention good number of selection of items. Definitely a great option for ayce near us.
Dietary restrictions: Though meat is not halal, but great sushi alternatives. Best of both Thai and Japanese cuisine

First time here after the renovations and will not be our last. Right when we entered the restaurant we were greeted and welcomed in so warmly. The decor and cleanliness of the restaurant was top notch . Service was superb and the food was delicious and served quite fast .

No matter which location I visit, it's always been a 5 star experience. Staff is always friendly, quick to serve us our drinks and our food. We had a group of over 20 people and everyone had a perfect time. Will return to this location again anytime.

Went before they reopened quite a bit and after their reopening a few times.
I'll get the negatives out of the way. Before, the service could be spotty but it seemed like it improved depending on the server you get. There are some mediocre food options on the menu like the dumplings or dim sum too, and that still seems to be the case.
However, they have a lot of really good quality food for an ayce place. Salmon sashimi was really, REALLY nice after the reopening with how it was cut and the amount of marbling it had. Their udon is probably their best side dish I always get whenever I come here too just because it's consistently good too. The sushi is good but not as good as the sashimi, and they do have some good apps like the coconut shrimp and beef tataki.
I usually order the sashimi and udon as my safe main course, and I experiment around with other dishes. That's how I would recommend you approach here for a first time experience. Seriously though, the udon is solid.
Visited Spoon + Fork Oakville recently. The host was welcoming and set a great tone at the start. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and delicious, but the chicken dishes were over-fried to the point of being inedible.
The ambiance was pleasant, but the service was disappointing. Our assigned waitress (with pink/red hair) was indifferent, failing to greet or smile. While she was polite and attentive to another table nearby, her attitude towards us felt dismissive, raising concerns about possible bias or indirect racism, which was upsetting.
Additionally, the ordering process was frustrating. Having to ask the server to confirm each item or request dessert felt awkward and unnecessary. Ironically, the waitress became polite only when it was time to settle the bill and tips.
Overall, while the food and atmosphere had potential, the service experience overshadowed the positives. Would hesitate to return unless service improves.

Let me be very clear. I love S&F and I
used to come and bring my friends to this place occasionally. The food and service were usually great, until today when the waiter made a comment about how much food we have ordered. There were 3 of us and we ordered a moderate amount of food. Her comment really left a bad taste for all of us. The other two were pretty upset but decided not to say anything back and ruin a good time we were hoping to have.
I am not sure if it was a restaurant policy for staff to make comments or it was just her bad manners but either way it was pretty distasteful and I am not sure if I would want to go back and risk experiencing the same again.
