I ordered a Venti espresso from Starbucks and specifically asked for light ice, but when I got it, the cup was more than half full of ice! I got home and scooped most of the ice out, the coffee left was only about half a cup. I ordered coffee, not ice.
Went in for egg bites and a chai latte. Mobile order. I always park and pick.up in the store to avoid running my car for no good reason.
Was met with smiles.
A happy barista left a feel-good note on my cup, and it made me smile.
For context, I come here pretty much every day with no issue, but I was heading into work and had a bit of a hic up in my order. The Barista who took my order was new and haden't told me they were out of the tea I had ordered. But let me know they were brewing a new batch. I was waiting for 45 minutes before I had to leave without my drink.
I am usually happy to wait, but I had other things to do that day.
