Very disappointing experience at this Starbucks location.
I fully understand that dogs are not allowed inside, and I was completely willing to follow that rule. I even asked if I could quickly place an order and have it handed to me at the door, which would have taken less than a minute. The staff refused without offering any alternative.
I then tried the drive-thru, but since I was not in a car, I was told to leave again. This meant I was completely denied any way to make a purchase.
What made it worse was the staff’s attitude — dismissive, unhelpful, and lacking basic customer respect. There was no effort to accommodate a simple and reasonable request.
The whole experience made me feel very uncomfortable and quite angry. I expect much better service from Starbucks.

They can’t follow basic instructions which I find shocking for a very simple order. Even after some of the ice melted - the cup was still over half full of ice when I asked for light ice. I asked for half decaf and I was awake until 2am. Min wage min effort is sadly the trend in retail food service. Luckily I got a refund and credit through Starbucks Canada who were amazing.

I don’t usually write reviews; however, this morning I was shocked to notice that after I paid, the barista in the drive-thru had added a $5 tip without my consent. Typically, the tip is either canceled or I’m informed that there’s a prompt on the screen where I can choose whether or not to add one. This time, the tip was added automatically, and I didn’t realize it until after I tapped to pay. I know my drink usually costs around $5, not $10.
I have no problem tipping, but adding a tip without my knowledge or permission is definitely not okay.

I went to this location today to get my free beverage for my birthday and I was told they needed to scan my app so they did that and said something was wrong with it and sent me on my way, I think they could have at least give me something instead.

Kristen and team are fabulous, they are always friendly, talkative, caring, and attentive. Thanks team for making my morning coffee run enjoyable. Plus, they always include a pup cup for my dog! - Haley

Always extremely busy and no where to sit. Now, that you closed the Petro Starbucks up the street, it’s worse. I really hope you secure a location near the closed store. Trafalgar traffic and in and out of here is a nightmare. So sad you renovated and it’s worse than before.

Absolutely the worst Starbucks in the area. Extraordinarily long wait times - today I ordered from home which is 10 minutes away and I still had to wait FIFTEEN minutes when I got there. Same thing happened yesterday. I will not be going back.
