Sunnyside is our go to place for breakfasts in Oakville. Great location in Downtown Oakville - right on Lakeshore. Food is consistently good. We usually go for the Traditional breakfast but everything looks good. Prices are very reasonable as well. We typically go on the weekends so it's probably a good idea to get there relatively early because it often will have a line at the door if you show up after, say, 10 am. Great breakfast spot - I have been here numerous times over the past years. The restaurant is a diner, with a very relaxing and traditional diner atmosphere - quite welcome in pretentious downtown Oakville. The meals that I have had were very good and fairly priced. The business has changed ownership sometime in the last year or so, and is now a family run place with excellent service and very good food prepared in the open kitchen (and now with some Mexican specialties)....
