Have this Korea restaurant on my list for a long time, but today is the first time to visit with my friend. I and friend have a long time no see, so we have a wonderful time gathering here talking and enjoy the delicious food. We like this restaurant and feel all right with it.

This is Korean cuisine chain. There are multiple locations in their list and this one is in Oakville across the GO Train station. It's relatively small and not designed to encourage patrons to stay longer. For my purpose, a business lunch, it worked well. If you like Korean cuisine, they offer a great variety of dishes along with traditional sides. The portion size it's just right to feel satisfied and to finish your meal under 30 minutes without rush. Service is quick but no-frill. The decor feels outdated but cozy. The tables are small and fit comfortably only two people. The location doesn't have a lot of parking spots, so one may need to park close by.

Very disappointed with the customer service at Owl of Minerva in Oakville.

I called to place a takeout order and the employee who answered the phone sounded annoyed and uninterested from the start. After ordering several dishes, I asked if he could recommend another item from the menu. His response was that he “didn’t have time” to suggest anything and told me to look at the menu myself. He repeated that he did not have time.

I understand restaurants can be busy, but basic courtesy and customer service should still be expected. If someone is spending money at your establishment and asks for a recommendation, they should not be made to feel like they are inconveniencing the staff. The interaction left a very poor impression and made me question whether I want to order from here again.

I don’t remember when was the last time I had food this good.

Great option for Korean food in Oakville, which doesn’t offer many options. The place gives me a sense of nostalgia, even though I never ate Korean food growing up. (lol) It is also a nice break from mainstream Korean food like KBBQ or Bibimbap, and lets you experience more traditional dishes. I had the Kamja Tang, which is a spicy pork neck bone stew with potatoes, and I was so good. It also came with many free side dishes, like other Korean restaurants. The service is as very good, and the staff was attentive and answered all of the questions I had about the menue. Even through it was on the pricier side for your typical lunch, it was still really good and would love to come back to try other dishes.

I had a great experience here. The environment of the restaurant was very friendly. They have authentic Korean food, lots of selection and great portions! Every dish was packed with flavour. The service was also great, the lady who served me was very attentive and had a great attitude, she was very patient with me as I did not know what to order right away which was very nice. Overall this restaurant has amazing food, and excellent customer service. I will definitely be coming back to try more of their dishes.

Food is always hot and ready in minutes. I love my weekly spicy beef!! My go-to place every time I pull into Oakville GO Station. Staff is lovely, kind and courteous, highly recommend.

The lady who was serving gives me attitude. She asked me what number is my order and then i said number 28 and she must’ve misheard me and got me the number 20. Which is 5$ more expensive

And when i got my order i immediately complain that she got my order wrong and then she rolls her eyes and murmurs in front of me.

After i got my order she didn’t give my change back.
