The Famous Owl of Minerva

This is one of those restaurants that is an old reliable. The food is always hot, full of flavors, the staff is very polite, I've really lost count of the number of times I've been here and it never disappoints.

The only thing I would add is that they should be more attentive to the freebies, once when you finished them, you have to ask for more, and sometimes they don't seem to like it when you do that.

WORST RESTAURANT EVER. FORCED ME TO TIP EVEN THOUGH THEY OFFERED NO SERVICE. TOOK FOREVER TO ORDER. FOOD HAD HAIR IN IT AND CAME OUT SUPER LATE.

If you want me to tip please at least provide a good service that deserves the tip. Don’t force your customers who are not satisfied with your service and restaurant atmosphere to just give you the money.
All we wanted was some home food as international students missing home. but instead we got our days ruined but this diabolical restaurant.
Actually, I'm Korean, but I didn't use Korean. I know that there is a different tipping culture than in Korea, but I have never been forced to tip at any restaurant in my life. I'm not angry, I just feel unfair. If you want to get a tip, you have to provide food and service that matches it. Why do you catch people who are upset because of the staff and the food is expensive and are about to leave, and shamelessly ask them to give up money? This is the first time in my life that I have been to a restaurant that is so shameless, nonsensical, and makes people feel bad. Don't do business like this. I'll never come back.

The one place next to Sheridan College where you could treat yourself to a satisfying Korean meal. Slightly pricey, but generous portion. Totally reccommend it to Oakville dwellers. I visit regularly.

We have ordered food from here regularly, but yesterday we discovered that the prices online are different from what they actually charge. Almost every dish was $2.00 more than the listed price. When we brought this up to the staff, the service lady told us, "Nobody updates the online prices, and nobody ever notices the price difference." This was disappointing and felt misleading. It's important for businesses to keep their pricing accurate and transparent, isn’t it?

The food is always amazing here. Service can lag a little when busy, but considering how busy they were, it's forgivable. The sauteed mushrooms (bu sot bokeum) were awesome, with whole garlic cloves with the mushrooms.

The food here is always steaming hot and very delicious. I always get the bulgogi and rice which never fails me. Also tried the spicy ramen which was very good and not too spicy, very manageable. Also loved the crispy sweet chicken was a hit!
