Came for a short celebratory visit with family to enjoy some coffee and Billy Miner Pie - which was delicious. And although they aren't especially famous for their coffee, the coffee was excellent! Service was even better! Our server was very friendly and attentive without being overbearing. We will be back..

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience this afternoon. We received a gift card from a friend and decided to have dinner for my husband's birthday after not visiting the restaurant chain for quite some time. We are first time parents, both working full time and it's tough to get some time alone with eachother so we thoght this would be a great chance for us to do so. From the start our waitress was constantly hovering around us making us uncomfortable and unable to have a nice intimate experience. I understand checking in here and there, but it was getting out of hand being constantly disrupted while trying to enjoy an afternoon out. We had the calamari to start which was okay, however the dinner was another story. My husband and I both ordered the striploin Oscar, medium rare. Mine was fine, however his was so rare to the point where he couldn't even cut into it. When he had mentioned it to the server, she gave him a dirty look and proceeded to rudely say "oh okay so you like yours more medium then, I'll have them cook it longer". No apology, no remorse whatsoever. By the time his dish had come out, I was already finished mine. The entire experience was ruined and we couldn't even enjoy a dinner together. Didn't even bring out a new steak, just tossed a couple of shrimp on top of the previous steak. I'm not sure how mine was fine and his was a different temperature given we had both ordered the exact same dish. The server came back to collect our dishes and I immediately asked for the bill as we both wanted to leave promptly after our horrible experience. It did not end there though. She came to me with the bill and said that since we were in a rush she can pack a slice of cake for us to go, however it is ice cream cake. Who would offer an ice cream dessert to go? I accepted the dessert even though it just further inconvenienced us as it needed to be eaten right away or placed in the freezer so that it wouldn't spoil. She then came around with the machine and saw we had a gift card. She said the tip portion is the first prompt so the gift card would be used towards that. I didn't want to tip her at all, but I was generous enough to give her 10%. Once the payment went through, she slapped the receipt onto the table and walked away without a word. No apology, no thank you, nothing. I was hoenstly speechless! We will definitely not be dining with The Keg again.

Ordered a kids burger meal for takeout as we have prior to this at different locations.First time ordering from this location.When opening the meal we noticed several things that aren't up to The Keg's quality. The veggie platter was a few carrots and celery pieces that we dried, not fresh and not appealing. The burger was dry also and burnt.The vegetables were burnt and dried especially the matchstick asparagus pieces, couldn't even tell it was an asparagus looked like a burnt shoestring french fry, portion not very generous as usual. No cutlery or anything for takeout. No ice cream in package, as stated on your kids menu. Asked if the milk could be warmed up, as it came out scalding hot that when I tested it from the baby bottle it was in, I was not even touchable to my fingertips. Dangerous. This is a kids meal. This meal was definitely not up to the Keg's Quality in anyway.

The restaurant is nice enough. Over priced IMHO. But mostly the food is just okay.I ordered the blackened chicken, expecting a spicier blacked chicken. What I got was a pale yellowish chicken that was ever so mildly spiced. It was okay, but it certainly wasn't blacked !Otherwise the appraisers were good , service okay and atmosphere good enough.I wouldn't recommend, and I wouldn't go back.
