This place has it all going right. Food is top notch, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Restaurant itself was perfectly lit to highlight its elegant interior. Well done.

Went here for the first time last week with my 2 adult kids.
Older crowd which was nice. Ambiance was OK. Food was quite good. Price point not too bad. Better than you would expect at this type of location. I will return again.

My girlfriend and I visited Trattoria Timone Ristorante this weekend with very high expectations based on recommendations from several people we know. Unfortunately, what started as a pleasant evening quickly turned into a very disappointing and concerning experience.

The meal began well, and we received our salads without issue. However, shortly after, our appetizer arrived. After only two bites, my girlfriend realized there were olives in the dish despite us specifically requesting no olives due to her allergy.

We immediately informed our server of the mistake. Given that this involved an allergy, we expected the situation to be treated seriously. Instead, the server appeared to take the issue lightly and simply asked if we wanted something else. He then spoke with the manager, who never came to our table to apologize or address the situation personally. Instead, we were told through the server that they would offer 50% off the appetizer.

To me, this response was completely inappropriate. This was not a simple preference issue—it was an allergy-related mistake that could have had serious consequences. Offering a discount on the appetizer without a direct apology or acknowledgment of the severity of the error did not address the real problem.

What was even more disappointing was that when we expressed our concerns, the staff argued that their offer was more than adequate rather than showing any genuine care or concern for what had happened. At no point did we feel that the restaurant understood the seriousness of serving an allergen that had been specifically identified and requested to be omitted.

I am still shocked and appalled by the lack of accountability, professionalism, and concern shown for my girlfriend’s allergy. Mistakes can happen in any restaurant, but how those mistakes are handled says everything about a business. Unfortunately, the response we received was far more troubling than the initial error itself.

I sincerely hope management takes food allergies more seriously in the future before someone experiences a much more serious outcome.

We celebrated our niece’s First Communion with friends and family at Trattoria Timone and had a wonderful experience. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and perfect for such a special occasion. The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The service was attentive and friendly throughout the evening, making everyone feel welcome and well taken care of. A memorable celebration and a restaurant we would gladly return to again.

The food was unbelievably good, the vibe is very laid back for a more upscale establishment, and our server Jackie was second to none. We were part of a larger party celebrating a family event and we were well taken care of. Great memories!

The food was fantastic (although cucumbers and tomatoes don’t work well in the pear blue cheese salad, but otherwise great). Service was a little lacking, our sever forgot about us a few times and we had to grab other staff to bring us pepper, or to grab our server, and to grab our bill).
