WU JI XI'AN FOODS

Not sure what format this place is operating as. We wanted to try their burgers and google showed they were open. But when we showed up, though the place was open they refused to serve us. Not sure what the deal is.

Liangpi here is amazing - the noodles are fresh, silky and chewy, and the sauce is amazing.

I’ve been wondering for a while that if anyone would be able to eat the food if they actually saw the atmosphere and cooking environment in the store. It’s horrible.

Ever since the warm, kind and tidy old man and woman returned to China, this store has been in dire straits. It used to be that you could go to this slum-like store to buy food just for the sake of delicious food and a few pleasant greetings. Now, there is no food, no hygiene, no service, and no environment. It’s an inexplicable world.

I bought a watch last year. When I arrived at the door of the store, I thought it was a private collection of scraps. I vaguely saw a small gap in the door and carefully opened the 45-degree probe. I was about to shout: Is this where to pick up food? (Words starting with F had already emerged secretly in my heart.) As I expected, a chemical smell hit my nose. It turned out to be a small workshop of prepared dishes. After 3 seconds, a person came out. Is that Roujiamo a Roujiamo? Except that the steamed bun is a Roujiamo bun, it doesn't have the slightest flavor that Roujiamo should have. What about the cured sauce? The meat is too woody and unpalatable. Liangpi is pretty good.

Takeout only. The Pork Xian Burger was tasty, but the Spicy Lamb Burger was heavenly! The flavour is both authentic and very good. Everything is reasonably priced.

Had a craving for Liang Pi while in Oakville, so we decided to try out this place. It is located in a little sketchy plaza. It is very hot day 30°c. There is no AC inside and the food is left outside the fridge on the counter. So we are concerned about the hygiene there. We bought two traditional Liang Pi and two spicy lamb hamburgers. We're definitely not impressed about the lamb hamburgers at all. The Liang Pi is ok. One thing to mention that the sauce satches are hard to open. You might need a scissor.

I ate hair in the meat buns today. It’s not as fastidious as it was when the old man and the old lady were old. Liangpi is okay, but the others are not so good. Sometimes the cold skin is chewy, sometimes it's crispy and hard, it depends on luck. After receiving the cash, I didn’t wash my hands or wear gloves, I just scratched the cold skin.

The boss is very evil. They charge 5.5 on WeChat when the exchange rate is less than 5.3. The environment is poor. It feels like a warehouse. The hygiene is worrisome.
