Jaz, our service, was great. He made our experience next level. Excellent martini. Seafood pasta and lobster-stuffed chicken were both delicious. A definite do-over.

Had an amazing birthday celebration dinner with my son at XII Old Fashioned Restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic — warm, lively, and welcoming. The owner, server, and bartender were all incredible and made our first visit truly memorable. We ordered the New York steak and ribeye, both cooked perfectly just as we asked. After dinner, we went to the bar for a few drinks, free cheese cake (btw was delicious) and really enjoyed the great service and friendly vibe. The live music added the perfect touch to the night. Definitely worth coming back — highly recommend this place!

Our first time dining here, and what a treat on a Tuesday!!! We made reservations just in case, and I would recommend making one (even for a table of 2) to ensure prime seating.

We sampled a few different cocktails, indulged in scallops and lamb lollypops, split the filet with multiple sides, and then still found room for dessert. Michael and staff made sure all of our dietary restrictions (gf/df) were met and provided a beautiful experience.

The space is cozy yet elegant, the food is masterfully crafted without being pretentious, and everything tasted better than expected. Thanks to all at XII for your hospitality, we can’t wait for our next visit to enjoy the live music!

XII is Oakville's hidden gem. The atmosphere is reminisint of a speak easy a la brat pack. Very intimate space, live music on weekends. The menu, is excellent - thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Jazz our waiter was lovely and attentive. This was my second time at XII for my husband's 50th birthday. He was over the moon and we all left with huge grins and full bellies.

Fantastic martini menu as well as a solid mocktail options.

Will definitely be back, perfect date night space you'll want to leave your cell in the car and just enjoy.

There truly aren't enough good things to say about this restaurant and event space. We recently hosted an event here, and calling the experience seamless would be an understatement. Michael (the owner) and his team went above and beyond to ensure every detail was thoughtfully executed.

Michael personally walked us through each aspect of the evening, offering his expert guidance on everything from food quantities and timing to drinks and entertainment. We booked their in-house pianist (Rick) and singer (Summer), who were both absolutely phenomenal and brought such a special touch to the night.

With 61 guests plus staff, the space was cozy but still comfortable — perfectly suited for an intimate gathering. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the service and atmosphere were nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a warm, inviting venue to host your next event, look no further. This place delivers a 10/10 experience.

We booked dinner Friday night for life music dinner, but we got table way back and cannot see performer at all while chatty patrons was overshadowing performance. So it was zero performance for us.
Our food choices was excellent and meals experience was very enjoyable. Old fashion beer was very nice.
