Had an amazing birthday celebration dinner with my son at XII Old Fashioned Restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic — warm, lively, and welcoming. The owner, server, and bartender were all incredible and made our first visit truly memorable. We ordered the New York steak and ribeye, both cooked perfectly just as we asked. Our first time dining here, and what a treat on a Tuesday!!! We made reservations just in case, and I would recommend making one (even for a table of 2) to ensure prime seating.

We sampled a few different cocktails, indulged in scallops and lamb lollypops, split the filet with multiple sides, and then still found room for dessert. Michael and staff made sure all of our dietary restrictions (gf/df) were met and provided a beautiful experience.

XII is Oakville's hidden gem. The atmosphere is reminisint of a speak easy a la brat pack. Very intimate space, live music on weekends. The menu, is excellent - thoughtfully crafted and delicious. Jazz our waiter was lovely and attentive. This was my second time at XII for my husband's 50th birthday. He was over the moon and we all left with huge grins and full bellies.

Fantastic martini menu as well as a solid mocktail options.
