My partner and I came in here for ayce sushi and for the 2nd time in a row we left very disappointed after giving them a second chance and we will definitely not be returning.
I’ve been a huge fan of yame for years but the service has taken a turn for the worse. My partner and I came in on a slower week night it was about 6:30 so we had some time before close, we placed a small quick order to start because we were so hungry when we arrived since it’s all you can eat we thought this wouldn’t be a problem, the server came took the order form with Probsbly 4 items on it took it away and never replaced it, my partner then went and got us a new one thinking she Probsbly forgot then we went to give her our second form (we also don’t over order as there is only 2 of us so we don’t want to be wasteful so our orders are on the smaller but more frequent side but seeing as there is a time limit that should not matter either for all you can eat.
The server NEVER once brought us another order form and kept asking if we are still ordering or want ice cream. And she seemed very annoyed when we would want to order more. We were not past our time limit not even close we were there for about 40 mins getting bothered by the server to get ice cream. Or she would say “oh you got yourself another order sheet?” Just very rude and felt so rushed. This is the second time we have visited recently and felt they wanted us to leave or were trying to rush us out. Very rude service it’s unfortunate because it really was always my favourite spot. I can’t believe I’ve been so Loyal to this place for so long and feel so upset with my last two visits. I also wonder if they do things to the food when they get annoyed with customers it always crosses my mind and I wouldn’t want to be somewhere I’m not wanted or eat food from a place where the workers all seem annoyed and unhappy I also work in the service industry and am not a difficult customer this review is from someone who’s always been understanding of bad days and I know it happens so I did give them another try thinking it was a one off but I guess not. I wonder if it’s under new management or something.
Overall some of the worst service I’ve ever had I do not recommend this place there are much better small business you can support that actually treat their customers well.

I wanted to take my left overs and they wanted to charge more money this seems ridiculous.. at other restaurants taking your left over is free. This really turned me of especially after I asked for a refill on my tea and her acknowledgement was super rude just kept going and was just not friendly at all. I hate to say I experienced this in such a beautiful place just made it very un easy for me.

I came for a regular lunch menu and ordered Tom Yum with shrimp and a coconut seafood soup. The broth was terrible and extremely spicy, basically just flavored water, with only two tiny shrimp. I also got curry with rice and a sushi set to go. The ingredients didn’t seem fresh — the avocado in the sushi was black, and the rice and rolls fell apart. The miso soup had a very chemical taste. I’m very disappointed with the food here and do not recommend this place.

We came here on a weekday at lunchtime, but ordered Dinner Menu sinceI’m a sashimi-lover. Dinner menu is $34.99 during the week and $36.99 Friday-Sunday. The staff were friendly and the service was quite fast.
You’ll be provided with pencil and paper as many rounds as you want, but make sure you don’t have leftovers as you’ll get charged.
We ordered Shrimp Tempura, Seaweed Salad, Beef Teriyaki, Salmon Teriyaki, Enoki Mushroom Beef Roll, Salmon Sashimi, White Tuna Sashimi, Red Dynamite Roll, Fire Kamakachi Roll, Dragon Roll and Red Dragon Roll. Everything was fresh and tasty.
There’s limited free parking at the back of the restaurant.

I came here with my friends for the dinner AYCE. It was a standard AYCE restaurant, but I felt the price did not match the quality of the food. It was almost 50 dollars per person, but the selection of the food was way less than other AYCE restaurants. Lots of the dishes did not taste good, so you need to be very careful before ordering too much at once (e.g., the beef teriyaki and a couple of other beef dishes were atrociously bad).
The environment of the restaurant was absolutely not well-maintained (it was quite ran down with a distinct smell in the air), the service was ok though.
