My family and I have come to Forage several times since moving to town. We have always enjoyed our meals and the great service. However Fri Dec 05 we were very disappointed with our meals. We ordered our usual mussels in a curry sauce and they were cold. The server kindly brought them back to the kitchen to have them heated up. I ordered the lobster risotto and the rice was crunchy not cooked at all. Our other dishes had an over powering amount of garlic and we were terribly disappointed...
I did an online reservation for two, and in my reservation I left a comment that it was two old friends who haven't seen each other for a few years and a couple of old-fashioned drinks to greet us would be great! I paid for the drinks, of course. And when we arrived and were seated, sure enough, the hostess comes around with our two drinks. It was an excellent surprise for my friend. We ate the Ahi tuna salad, and the goat and beet salad with a chicken breast. Both outstanding....
The focus on fresh ingredients and quality is evident in all their dishes. They have a fantastic menu for a pescatarian, but also cater to the vegans and meat lovers. The casual atmosphere is great if you didn't feel like dressing up but still want yummy food. Service is also super friendly - thank you Morgan!
