That special the chef created on mother's day was amazing 👏 🤩..please put it on the menu...lobster and shrimp on a brioche bun with asparagus, asparagus and poached egg with hollandaise sauce...amazing!

Initially, the restaurant seemed pleasant enough.

The server (Dain) made several recommendations on drinks and mains. This included the Tagliatelle, which I ordered, pointing at it with my right index finger while saying “I’ll have the Tagliatelle, which you recommended”. Some time later, a different server brought out the food. I was surprised and even thought they got my order and my date’s mixed up (and even said as much). A couple of minutes later, Dain stopped by and I asked how come there is no beef in my dish. He got very confrontational, saying “You ordered the Cavatelli! I wrote it down.” This was a bizarre experience, especially since he had explicitly recommended the Tagliatelle, not the Cavatelli, and I explicitly made reference to the dish that he had recommended. I am an easygoing person, I would have been happy to eat whichever meal was available, but being treated like this was quite unwarranted.

After I paid, I informed the hostess about what had happened. Her response was, word-for-word: “This is the first time somebody has complained about Dain.” I told her that this felt like closing ranks, which is not a good look. She started mumbling something about offering me something, but at that point I’d stopped paying attention.

Overall, this was quite unprofessional behaviour by two of the staff members at Greystones. Orangeville has several other restaurants. I recommend you skip this one.

Wonderful place. Beautiful decor. The menu looks great. Locally sourced food as much as possible. Our server did an amazing job describing the signature dishes and recommending dishes.

A little heavy handed on the salt this time. We had the tagliatelle and gnocchi dish and because both had similar base sauces. Without the pasta part though, the sauce itself would've been inedible. Maybe a slip of the hand. Would help if they taste the food before it goes out. It would've been caught for sure.

Special shout out to Dane who was our spectacular server. And our bartender was wonderful as well!

Great place but on the expensive side for the portion size, but the food was fantastic. Found some dishes a bit salty, but we also don't use a lot of salt normally, so it was likely just our palates. All the food was delicious and the staff is fantastic.

Would have given 5 stars all around, but we were charged for 3 bottles of Aeras Sparking Water and 3 bottles of Aeras Still Water. It was not communicated that they were extra and thought it was just water for the table. At $9.00 a bottle it was a bit of surprise. We had a big party and long receipt so that was a surprise to find afterwards on the way home.

This place is a MUST! The food was incredible, the service outstanding and the atmosphere was amazing. Our server Tori was fabulous. Tuna Tartar and Oysters were fresh and delicious. Venison Loin, Tenderloin ( a generous 7oz portion) with Fois Gras was to die for. Chocolate Cheesecake & Coconut Cream Pie were a great finish to our meal. GREAT job by all.
