We had our Big Cedar Estates Christmas dinner here on Dec 13th..116 people attended, and thoroughly enjoyed a 3 course turkey dinner. The food was amazing, and the portions were larger than most. We received nothing but compliments, which was good considering the Sinnottes are the new proprietors. They went over and above to make us happy, and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Well done!

I come here quite often. The food has gone down hill since the new owners have taken over. The proclaimed chefs food is lacking a great deal. Pancakes have to tastes - French toast well if you like bread dipped in eggs. With no taste. Soups all puréed . Tried to just get toast and it was burnt..
way to go chefs my two year old grandson can do better … here’s a hint put some vanilla in your pancakes. Cinnamon and vanilla in your French toast eggs before dipping your bread… and I don’t claim to be a chef . Lol

My partner and I wanted to thank Wendy and the waiter who helped us today - there was a mixup in the kitchen that resulted in me getting meat in both my first omelette, and the second omlette they brought out to replace it.

After we approached the waiter about the mixup, Wendy came out to personally apologize and comped our entire meal, including what my partner ordered. Very good customer service and greatly appreciated.

Very disappointed with our breakfast. It took 40 minutes to get. The home fries looked like they came out of a can and they were only warm, not even fried. Our toast was not toasted and my western was maybe one egg and a bit of ham. It cost us $35 with tax and tip. Never again.

Today for good Friday we went here for breakfast we arrived at eleven am we ordered shortly after for the next two hours we watched server everyone around us people that arrived after us got to eat and leave finally got mad and went to pay for our coffee's of course they said sorry and gave the coffee's for free as we waited for two hours to eat and never got the chance as our ride had to go pick his mom up for an appointment if this is the kind of service that paying customers should get cause the cook wants to play a game cause he doesn't like someone sitting my table will make me think twice about returning !

Good food once it arrived after a VERY,VERY last long wait. Two out of two drink glasses were grungy to the touch... One of them with lipstick from previous patron's on the glass. Cutlery was given to us WAY after our food arrived and they were hot out of dishwashing. Was unsure of cleanliness of the person's hands who brought them to us. Overall would not recommend this restaurant. Although the food was good, the cleanliness was VERY questionable. The servers were plainly pushed to the edge with little background support. Unclean dishes, food prep etc.

We often visit this resturant on Sunday afternoon following church. It's usually crowded and the wait time for food could take up to 45 minutes.

We tend to overlook the wait times, because the portions and costs are reasonable.

Staff is friendly, yet very busy. The resturant overlooks the main road and just beyond that, lake Simcoe.

This resturant doubles as a curling rink, so if you're lucky, you may see a match in action!

This is a wheelchair friendly resturant, and suitable for children. There are colouring books on the table upon entry to keep the kids occupied!

Parking: The parking lot is Bit of a walk l to the resturant. If it's raining, or if someone in your party is disabled, I'd suggest you drop them off at the front doors.

It was the only place that was open at 7am on my way through Orilla going north. I'm going on vacation tomorrow and will be stopping in again.

Parking: Loads of room, shares a lot with the recreational area, you can even park your trailer.

Sausage and eggs were properly made. The home fries were a bit soggy...not crispy. Servers were excellent. Prompt and polite.

This is the only restaurant in Orillia where you can get a view over lake Couchiching and lake Simcoe! Plenty of space inside, wide menu, friendly staff who have been there forever.

Parking: Parking exclusively for customers, not festival parking.
