Have visited 3 times since the reopening at the new location. Each time the food has been pretty bland and the service has been lacking. Couch Brewery had fantastic food prior to the merge - disappointed more of that menu didn’t come through. Wouldn’t be my first pick for a lunch/dinner spot.
Stopped in for a drink and an appetizer during a motorcycle ride. Had the whipped feta with pita, the flavour was spot on. The size was enough for 4 people to share before a meal. My wife had the wheat beer, and I had IPA. Both were very good. We sat on the patio. The service was quick and knowledgeable.
We stopped at the retail store on our way out and got a few cans for home.
Will be back when we are in the area.
I'm pretty bias because of the old brewery bay.
The food used to be way better and so was the service.
Food really doesn't feel worth it, they're charging $3-$4 more per item for lower quality food.
Drinks never arrived that where ordered, which I'd understand if they where understaffed or slammed with guests. But there was maybe 10 people in the restaurant for 5 waiters plus a bartender.
I'll give it another go later on and update if its better.
Mixed impressions since their relocation. Have been twice and both times have been seated near the entrance to the retail shop, which has been annoying as there are a number of challenged people who don't look to where the actual restaurant front entrance is.
The service timing also feels rushed, or wants to rush us: both recent experiences has seen our mains brought out while we have been actively working on our appetizers.
Food has been good. We really appreciate the veggie and vegan options.
Drinks are on par with the previous establishment.
Pictured is the feta pistachio/honey dip with fried pitas (amazing) and other appetizers. I’ve been twice since the merging of Brewery Bay and Couchiching brewery, the food and cocktails are better than ever!!
the bacon poutine was… well, look at it lmao.
a few curds of melted mozzarella and hardly any bacon. saddest thing i’ve eaten in a while lol.
the beef dip was ok, and the service was friendly.
i prefer the vibes of the old craft brewery better though.
We have been part of two large groups in the past week. Let us say that we didn't love the food at old location so we were really looking forward to improvements...this is an honest set of feedback from 10 people. I hope Jenna and her team take this with good intention and make some changes:
Good- Floor plan Broken up and now you can hear yourselves for chatting. The bar menu and mixed drinks 100% improvement. The bartenders 100% improvement. The cleanliness 110% improvement.
Needs Improvement: the bathroom doors lock weird and if not clasped people just walk in and the men pee all over making them unpleasing for women. Have changed the blade size for the French fries? They are slimmer and they are now coming out cold and soggy. CCBC chips were talk of the town...and the aioli is lacking flavour and the homemade ketchup used to be think and better? The gravy on the poutine is too runny too. Fries used to be poker straight and super double fried crispy. The fish was excellent but no decent tartar sauce. The beef dip was tasty but the Costco 9 grain bun has to go! The pork tacos need a sweeter or more rich sauce, they were spicy but bland? The chicken added to Beet salad was moist and 100% better than before. The chicken wrap with portabella is a fail. all lettuce, mushy tomatoes and weird new in house ranch that has no taste.
The men found the small little glasses for there stout beer weird and dainty. The men didn't like the chicken wings...too small and over cooked not plump like the menu describes(we know sourcing is an issue right now) and the men thought you were very skimpy on sides of fries with the burgers. They said buns were dry. But gobbled them up so they must have been tasty. Onion rings were great. Sweet potatoes came out hot and tasty and a pleasant surprise. The fish tacos were skimpy and the cabbage on top over powered the whole taste. Two has soup and said it was bland. We all shared desserts and they were ok . Cookie skillets were undercooked but tasty. the dessert menu was heavy on Chocolate, maybe a lighter add on in future considering your sister place make the worlds best Tiramisu.
The tables along the east wall for two are very tiny and awkward, the stools for them are for small butted folks not men.
The vibe is awesome and with some menu additions and a chef who is aloud to create weekend specials with lots of flavour we expect to have many more group dinners in your new place. Ribs and potato salad on the patio yes please. Good start to something great!!Staff are 100% on the ball and learning as they go so tip them well!
We had the best experience working with Allie, and the staff for our engagement party. The food and drinks were delicious, and everyone had a great time! We’re so happy and grateful. We definitely recommend you host an event here!
Good atmosphere, great food, great service. Slightly different vibe from the original couchiching brewery. Still good though!
The new Brewery Bay is a fail. I guess they kept the same bad chef from when they were that Couchaching place. A disappointing list of choices on the menu. There is also a negative fengshui. Actually missing the old BB mow. I wouldn’t go back due to the food choice and bland taste.

The food was so bland and had a cramped atmosphere. I’m not going back.
I went with a group of people this evening. We all tried different things. Overall everyone was happy with their mains but nothing was amazing. 3 of us decided to end the evening with a trying the Affogato. Out of the three of us that tried it we were each extremely dissatisfied. The brownie is advertised as being warm, yet what were were served was a large hard cold brownie. The espresso was so bitter it was not pallatble. We all told the server about this - she almost didn't acknowledge this and brought us our bills. One of our group barely ate the dessert yet was charged full price. As a group we asked why should we return here? The food was okay, the dessert was disappointing and the service was less than satisfactory. Our bill for two was $140+.
I visited the new location recently. I didn’t make a reservation but lucked out and was able to be seated. The menu holds the staples of Brewery Bay, like the Bacon Mac N Cheese, Portobello Mushroom wrap and the famous Cookie skillet! The atmosphere is a vibe! I liked it. I love you can see over Expo depending on where you’re seating and watch BOH in action. Being a Chef myself it’s fascinating to see how seamless the team works together. The service! Fantastic! Couldn’t have asked for better service. I’m only giving a 4 star because I wish my Spinach dip was bigger lol 😂 I love a good spinach dip. I will for sure be back!

Loving the new location for Brewery Bay! Renovated and cozy atmosphere, fantastic prompt service, and amazing menu with all the favourites and some great new options!
What a lovely next step for a local favorite 🫶
My favourite place to go for a meal. I’ve even been here to celebrate a few of my birthdays. Food is great. Servers are excellent and pricing is very good.
