Their chicken chow mein and chicken noodle soups are sooo good. Amazing quality and portions every time.
I went to this restaurant looking for soup. And I and I ended up getting beef soup combo which was amazing. The lady and the gentleman that helped me were very respectful. Very kind and very nice people. The food was great. The service was great.
Terrible food , not at all as described $21.00 could only take 1 spoonful and left you can't complain be cause they can't understand what your saying new owners are Terrible, alot better when Simon owned it , taste like dishwasher not at all clear .I'll never eat there again and I've eaten pho in a lot of places around and this is the worst 😫
A pleasant place and the portions are generous. Food is great.
Wonderful first time visit to Chef Simon's Kitchen. Stopped for lunch. Owners were super friendly and very helpful and accommodating with my daughter’s food intolerances, making a special order for her. Food was very fresh and delicious. Highly recommend!
This is what happened when there is zero competition for Asian restaurant in Orillia. Besides the rude staff, the pad Thai was burnt with the black burnt food all over the container. And then you can also find random scallops scrap within the chicken pad Thai, which I can only assume they didn’t wash up the pans between takeout. Truly bad bad food. Do not go.
Ordered on uber eats (for pickup) totally forgetting that power was out on the side of town, I showed up and didn’t know if my order was going to be able to made! Went inside and they had made my order! Very sweet lady handed me my order! I got the S1 beef pho! Was amazing as always! Thank you for still being open! You guys are great! :)
This is your typical mom and pop shop, serving nice size portions, their RareBeef Pho is excellent. But you must ask for rare when you order it.
absolutely delicious oh my

Green curry chicken dish comes with steamed rice for $20.00. The taste was good, though spicy. The take out at the restaurant came promptly. Definitely only for take out, not a place to dine in.
My wife and I are of asian decent and have been living in the Orillia for the past 6 years,. We have dined at every asian cusine restaurant, including Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Thai, Chinese. None would score more than 5 out of 10 in terms of taste. That is, until today when we tried Simon's for the first time. We were very pleasantly surprised at the authenticity and taste experience. The Vietnamese spring rolls were as good as we have had anywhere in the GTA. The beef Pho soup was equally delicious. Marvellous broth, perfectly prepared rice noodles, ample beef topping. We ordered the Thai basil fried rice to go and hope it is also on point. Really interesting menu. A mix of Vietnamese, Thai and Cantonese dishes. We intend to try many on return visits and bring along friends as well.
The service is efficient and friendly. Decor is nothing to write about, only seats about 12 people. But the taste is head and shoulders better than other asian restaurants in Orillia, bar none. Give it a try. I think you will be surprised as well.
Ordered delivery on Friday night. Food came quickly and was still insanely hot!
The food was delicious, shared spicy beef noodle soup, beef satay noodle soup, Chiang mai noodles and vegetarian pad thai. Really refreshing to have a pad Thai that actually had flavour. Each dish was delicious and generous portions. Highly recommend.
Went today was great had the best udon iv ever had and staff was so nice!!
We are from the city, and we happen to frequent this lovely restaurant on a Sunday evening around 8 PM. Clean and cosy environment bustling with sit down clientele as well as takeout orders. We knew we were in a popular spot. Our food took a reasonable amount of time to be prepared, which indicated to us that it wasn’t just thrown together. The servings were extremely generous, steamy hot and had a multitude of flavours and textures; fresh coriander topping both dishes was a delight, especially for a Sunday night. The woman who waited on us was polite and efficient and spoke excellent English. I would highly recommend this little treasure in a Orillia if you were seeking Thai food.
