We picked up some take out on our way back to Huntsville and this was the BEST Chinese food I have ever had! The staff were helpful and friendly our food only took about 15 minutes from the time we ordered.

There really isn't an atmostphere to critique as it is a pick-up or delivery only now. Food is great, good value for your money. I wouldn't say it was over the moon but I would say it is a solid buy and the best in Orillia.

We tried Colborne Chinese today. Very pleased. We have always supported the other place in town (Laclie Street) but due to their cashier at check out always asking/demanding tips we tried Colborne - 100%+ better. We will return. Thanks for the great experience. Thanks again.

Spicy Szechuan it is not. The chicken lomein was tasteless, dry and someone forgot the chicken. The szechuan chicken was barely spicy at all, comprised of onions, onions, green peppers, and onions barely representing its name sake since 5 tiny pieces of chicken does not make a dish. Did I mention the bucket of onions? The box of doughballs had a sickly sweet sauce, a hint of chicken, but plenty of barely cooked dough. Never again shall our family endure such an insult of a meal.

The restaurant is only open for take out our delivery. With that being said, the food was really delicious. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in awhile. We're working to restore power at the moment, we walked up and knocked on the door and she showed us to order takeout. Don't be discouraged with no dining, get the takeout. It's really great. I'm assuming the lady we talked to at the door was the owner. She's really great to chat with. Very personable.

Not a buffet. Even though all marketing says different. Not even a sit in restaurant actually... when you walk in it's like old school with boxes everywhere, has restaurant furniture and buffet table but no eat it. Unfortunate because orillia needs a Chinese sit down.. bad. Food was okay. Quantitys were small, got a plate had 3 tiny chicken balls, a bit of rice and chop suey on the side (upcharged for seperate container). Way to much red sauce and was more sour then it was sweet I would say.... rice was a small amount... front counter lady was nice. Door was locked when I was coming to get food I didn't like that. And unfortunately the restaurant is so big to do take out only. Seems like a waste & I'm presuming owners are only worried about making money and not even spending the money to take the buffet off the sign outside then get angry when people ask about it... but really it's like- okay go off, the sign says buffet. Prices are highest in town also. Just go to royal oak, better food and prices there.
The food is fresh AF!! And it's extremely refreshing to eat it and not feel like crap afterwards. The only thing I wish would change is the meat the veggie ration - it would be nice to have more meat within the dishes. In an order of Kung pow chicken - there might be 2oz of chicken - it's mainly celery. I'm finding that this is the norm with the meat to veg ratio. Again, the good always tastes amazing, I juat wish there was a normal amount of meat.
