I took my wife out on a date night on a Saturday night. We had fun on the floor. After a few hours, we got hungry and decided to have supper. We lost track of time and it was near 9pm. For the price of their buffet we decided to try it. We were both hungry and excited to see what they had to offer. After looking through their selection, I knew we were going to be disappointed. The food was horrible. All was left was left overs. The presentation of the buffet was the worst that I've ever seen. Everything was not very appetizing. The service was good. We were asked how our meal was, we didn't say much and she knew that we were not happy. She was kind enough to apologize and we said it was not her fault, we should have known better. We don't go out very often and decided to have fun at Rama, but this truly ruined the evening for us. I can honestly say that we will never return to this casino. I know that we were dining near closing time, but for a major casino to offer this quality of food, they should be ashamed. Never Ever Again! It's not hard to see why Rama is longer the place to be.

I have been eating here for Years. Last night was my last visit. A person can only handle so much disappointment. There used to be BOGO offers. There used to be more selection, better food. They continuously downside and eliminate my favorites. No more Asian selections. Hope you only want dressing with that lettuce because the salad bar has more dressing selection than toppings like olives, shredded cheese etc. The food is overcooked...on and on. The waitress did nothing to make me feel better and just kinda shrugged and walked away when I said I was disappointed and probably wouldn't be back. Subway is just across the street and the line up is shorter.

Unfortunately, the casino is just a ghost town now, and the quality of food (service always great) has gone down while price has gone up. My last two visits were just not good enough for me to eat again anytime soon.
I usually eat at the buffet on weekdays but understand the new weekend only hours. Maybe it makes the quality of food better, but the writings kindve been on the wall now for the casino over the past couple of years, which sucks because it's been my favourite casino.

I visited this restaurant for the first time with some friends, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. When the waitress guided us to out table, I wasn’t happy with the location and asked if we could sit elsewhere. She was very rude and responded,”you have to sit here.” I spoke with the manager about the situation, and while she assured me she would address it, no apology was offered, nor was our table changed. The food quality was also very bad. The salad seemed old and had an unpleasant smell. On a positive note, some of the cakes were quite delicious. However, this small positive did not make up for the overall negative experience. Based in my visit, I do not recommend this restaurant.
Terrible food …. Roast beef was terrible, couldn’t even cut it.., the Yorkshire was soggy fried chicken was dry and tasteless …nothing had any real taste… don’t waste your money.. it was $144.00 for 4 people… either make reservations at the steakhouse there or eat in Orillia at a restaurant….

We went for lunch on a Wednesday at the end of July. Only 1/3 of the buffet islands were open. With tax and tip, it was $35 per person, and that included non alcoholic drinks. The restaurant was sparsely filled with the majority of elderly people. The roast beef was good. The salad bar had the essentials. We liked the soft serveice cream and sorbet. The staff was friendly and quick to puck up empty dishes and refill our drinks. We were told that the buffet is closing down in September, and a smaller space will open up on weekends.
