We had a Valentine’s Day reservation at Era 67 that was confirmed the day before for 7:15 PM. We drove 45 minutes into town for this reservation, only to receive a cancellation text two hours before our scheduled time.
After receiving the text, we tried calling multiple times, sent texts, and even emailed — with absolutely no response from the restaurant. Since we had family visiting from out of town and had already made the drive, we went there in person to figure out what was going on. That’s when we were told it was a “software issue” and that they could seat us — but not until 8:00 PM, about 45 minutes after our original reservation time.
When we returned at 8:00 PM, we were seated in what felt like a waiting room area rather than a proper dining space. We ordered our appetizers at 8:06 PM, but they did not arrive until 8:55 PM. The main dishes didn’t come out until around 10:00 PM. By that point, the entire evening was already ruined.
To make matters worse, the restaurant had already run out of one of the three options offered on the Valentine’s Day prix-fixe menu, further limiting choices after the long wait.
The food quality did not justify the wait or the $150 Valentine’s Day menu pricing. The dishes were disappointing and poorly prepared. Although the restaurant offered 20% off, staff then tried to blame us for “taking too long to order,” which was both inaccurate and unprofessional given everything that had happened.
Between canceling confirmed reservations, failing to answer calls or messages, making us wait despite being told it was their error, seating us in a waiting area, extremely slow service, limited menu availability, poor food quality, and then shifting blame onto us — this was an unacceptable experience.
What should have been a special evening with visiting family turned into a frustrating and disappointing night. I would not recommend Era 67 based on this experience.
Had an excellent dinner with my fiance, we had the tenderloin and service was excellent. Our server kathrine was very kid and attentive and we will return.

It was one of the worst experiences we had for a valentines meal. Our appetiser portion was minimal on enough for two people. We waited an hour for our main meal to come out after the appetiser and it was cold. I ate part of it and found a piece of plastic in my potatoes. And all the owner would do for us offered us a free dessert which was included with the meal and the waitress had to fight to get $40 off the price of her meal we will never go back.

We had a truly wonderful experience at Era 67. Despite technical difficulties that were completely out of their control, the staff were incredibly accommodating and handled the situation with grace and professionalism. Their calm, attentive approach turned what could have been an inconvenience into a genuinely positive experience for us.
The food was exceptional. We ordered the sirloin and the lamb, and both were cooked phenomenally—perfectly done, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the kitchen and the overall guest experience here.
We left feeling well taken care of and genuinely impressed. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food paired with thoughtful, professional service.

They cancelled our reservation a half hour before on Valentine’s Day and no one answering phones. Will never eat here again
Our group of 6 had a great dinner there on 9Jan2026 before going to a show at the Orillia Opera House. I was impressed that the first question that our waiter asked was whether we were going to the show - he wanted to know so that he could make sure we were done in time to get to it. We had Crispy Calamari, Wild Mushroom salad, French Onion soup, Salmon, Pork Chop and Seafood Linguine. Everything was excellent other than the soup - the person who had it thought it was thin with not enough onions and didn't have nearly enough of the classic French Onion soup taste. We've eaten there before, and we will again, and we've recommended it to friends. Excellent food, excellent value.

Have eaten here before. Two friends joined us for our anniversary dinner. All four of us shared the same opinion that the food was terrible. All had pasta dishes after the Yorkshire appetizer. Will certainly think twice about returning.

This was a very disappointing dinner we were celebrating a birthday for a family member. We were a group of 6 people two of us order the Seafood pasta and there was no seafood in the pasta. The waiter was very attentive to fix the problem and brought out a small portion of 4 very small shrimp and 2 scallops. But by the time he brought this out our pasta was already cold and everyone was finished eating.
The other people in the group order the lamb shank and it was ok served with a very small portion of vegetables and mashed potatoes.
I definitely don’t recommend this place it is sad to see restaurants charge so much for a dish and not even serve a decent portion or good quality ingredients.

Hubby and I went to dinner as out of towners and were looking forward to a try a restaurant others had highly recommended. However I ordered the seafood linguine and it had only a handful of small/miniscule pieces of seafood. They really struggle with a prime rib dinner even after two attempts it was sub par. Disappointed in the food but the service was sweet and attentive and they did give a discount to the meal to make it right, very appreciative of their kind efforts.

We had friends from out of town and went to Era 67 for dinner. The atmosphere was fantastic and the food was outstanding. Our server, Katherine, was working solo and was so nice. Service was exceptional. I did notice that some of the banquet seats backs looked unfinished along the edge but that’s a minor thing. I’m sure the new owners are I. The process of updating things. It has been a few years since we went here and we will definitely be returning much sooner next time!

Dinner with family. Our meals were absolutely delicious and service was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant. Hubby Claude and I give it two thumbs up! We will be back!
I was a little nervous about booking this restaurant as some reviews in the past were not great but I am very happy I booked Era 67 and all of our party of five plan on coming back. We were there on Sunday of the Thanksgiving weekend in order to celebrate a birthday. The steaks were excellent - cooked exactly to order and they were seasoned perfectly. The potato of the day was delicious. Two of the group had Caesar salad to start and both of them said the salads were excellent. Of course we had dessert! The server went out of her way to ensure the pumpkin pie had whipped cream with it. The warm butter tarts with ice cream were yummy. We were also pleasantly surprised when all the staff signed a birthday card for the birthday girl. What a nice touch. Thank you Era 67. We look forward to spending our next special occasion with you once again.
