Fin City Fish & Chips Restaurant

I am getting disappointed. This was my favourite place to get halibut and poutine at the beginning of the summer. The last two orders I've received were not good. The latter one, the gravy on poutine was not even warm, and the fries were extremely gross and soggy. The order I received tonight, I ordered and paid for a halibut and poutine, what I got was a piece of cod (I hate cod I would never order it); and a poutine with burnt gravy and like three curds. Considering this is the transition over the span of three months is disappointing, started out super strong now just a continuous disappointment.

Best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish is thick cut pieces...generous portions..and the batter is light and airy...the chips are scrumptious....my experience is that at most places either the fish is great but chips aren't or reversed...this place is crushing it with both....also the staff are so sweet friendly and kind...these guys get a 15 out of 10 from me....try it....you'll see what I mean...

First time at this restaurant, and we will for sure be back. Food was amazing, the portions were great for the price. The kids had mozzarella sticks and the Mac and cheese bites and finished them in no time. Lots of room and the servers were great

And they have Gluten Free options for their fish batters. Which is awesome to see.

Food was great…
AC wasn’t working

I use to love this place when it first opened and told everyone about how good it was. A few years ago , not sure if new staff or what but it went to shit. Then I saw it say new mgmt or new owner, and people were saying it was good. .So I tried it again on the weekend and it's back to being good again.
