One of the few restaurants around Orillia that prepares food from fresh. Burger and fries with coleslaw. Everything was excellent. The fries were fresh cut and the coleslaw was amazing. I'll definitely be going back and will recommend to anyone looking for good food at reasonable prices. Thanks for a great lunch.

Friends Dinner in Orillia, Ontario, is truly a hidden gem! Open from 7 AM to 2 PM for breakfast and lunch, it’s the perfect spot for a cozy meal. I absolutely love their fish served with a Caesar salad—no bacon, just fresh and delicious! Their grilled cheese is also a must-try: crispy, gooey, and comforting.
What really makes this place special is the warm atmosphere. The owner, her mom, and daughter, along with all the staff—servers and cooks—are simply amazing. You’re always welcomed with a genuine smile, and the service is consistently friendly and inviting.
Whether you're stopping in for a coffee or planning a lunch date, Friends Dinner is a place that feels like home. Highly recommended!

I know most of the reviews are good but I have to share my and my friends experience with having breakfast today..I ordered a cheese omelette with cheddar cheese. Not sure if there's a new cook but the home fries were white colour undercooked some were hard. Esthetically they looked not good. And I opened my omeletye to find not a smidgen of cheese inside? A tiny but at the ends?? I was surprised. The cranberry juice seemed flat. I didn't want to pq PaY for it cause I ate 3 bites of the omlette and none of the home fries.. will not be going back .the other choices on the me u did look good .
