This was the best food I have had in a long time. I recommend this place. The atmosphere was perfect, the music was low enough that you could talk to one another with out yelling.
We started with calamari that was cooked so we beautifully that I had to check and see if it was really calamari.
My husband ordered the pan seared white fish and he had eaten his food before mine had even cooled down.
I had the shrimp cabonara that was so mouth watering good. I wish I had room for dessert because I think it would have been amazing too. The prices are a bit high but oh so worth it.

Ryan our bartender/waiter was very personable and knowledgeable.
We were new to the area and he recommended places to visit in Orillia and Niagara Falls, took his suggestions and he was right on!
Know let’s talk about the food, excellent, from the pork rolls to the chicken scaloppine, and my risotto. They also had homemade pasta on the menu and I heard a customer give great reviews.
My husband raved about his chicken dish. A lovely and delicious meal!!
Thanks to the chef for a meal we will remember.

No change table in the men's washroom for one. Forced to change a diaper on the sink vanity. Food was not cooked well. Calamari was super salty and had a few portions with uncooked batter... tasted soft and mushy and had to spit it out into a napkin. Whitefish w risotto was mushy and unpalatable. Chicken Parm was burnt. Felt gross the rest of the evening after our meal. Many other great choices in town... won't be back. Service was decent.
I love going to The Grape and Olive, I enjoy the food, the atmosphere and the service, one of the better restaurants in

Order the butter chicken and it was completely inedible. The rice was complete mush and watery. So disgusting. Very disappointed!

We had a great dinner prior to attending a show at Casino Rama. The menu at Grape & Olive has so many options that I couldn't decide. I had narrowed it down from 5 to 3 choices. Our server, Mary Lou, was absolutely lovely, funny and especially helpful with her stories and recommendations. We shared a Caesar salad and French onion soup to start, then a prime rib dinner and chicken Cordon Bleu for our mains, and we shared a slice of pumpkin cheesecake for dessert. There's something on the menu for everyone to suit your cravings.
This is my new favourite in Orillia!
I just wish I lived closer so I could dine there more often, but we'll be back for sure.

The service was good and the server was friendly. The food was OK, but the “homemade sauce“ was underwhelming and tasted very much like canned tomato sauce. The pasta was homemade, but seemed to be somewhat stuck together in a clump and was overdone. The food was acceptable, but mediocre. Definitely not worth the price that they are charging.
Vegetarian options: There were a very few vegetarian options on the menu.

We ordered the beef dip and French onion soup. Both were prepared very untraditionally and not as expected. The French onion soup was quite thick and gravy like as opposed to a beef broth base. The beef dip actually came with a thick Swiss chalet style gravy as opposed to an au jus. It was just not great. I would have loved to try the homemade pasta but in my opinion $35 is overpriced for pasta.

We had our work Christmas party at the Grape and Olive, everyone was incredibly happy with the whole experience. The service was fantastic only to be topped by the quality of all our meals. Me and my family will definitely be back.
