As we were approaching Orillia we decided to call Hermie’s Diner for a take out order of fried egg sandwich with home fries, and a side order of mushrooms and onions. Best breakfast or brunch fix I have had on the road! Timing was perfect for Anthony to pick up the order. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This was not the first time we have used their services, and it won’t be the last!Thank you very much for feeding us so nicely Hermie’s Diner ?

Amazing!! Went for the first time today and will definitely be back. Huge portions, absolutely delicious, staff was very pleasant and the price is well set. The eggs benedict was very good and the home fries are seasoned really nicely. My niece had the chocolate chip pancakes and loved them, they looked as good as she said they tasted. Best breakfast I've had in a while!

Really nice staff and good food served with a little ramekin of fresh fruit. Patio is very nice, surrounded with flowers in the summer, although loud because of the proximity to Hwy 12.

Undoubtedly one of the best diner I have ever been. We had cheeseburgers and cheeseburger poutines which were quite unique; very tasty and great quality. Staff were quite friendly and the diner was full of flowers and plants that gave cozy outdoorsy vibe to it.

Hidden gem! A gorgeous flower filled patio, and everything we ordered was absolutely amazing - we tried the pancit, fish n chips, steak Benedict and more! The people who run it are super friendly and accommodating. We loved it so much that we'll be here again on our way back!

The owner was annoyed with my large family. Interrupted the ordering with his annoyance , refused to bring coffee because he was annoyed and was generally rude . Food was basic and service stunk. I’d literally eat at McDonald’s before here

AMAZING!!!!Walked into a proper restaurant which was clean, and well-lit. The place is practically a garden oasis with no less than 100 potted flowers and plants both inside and outside the beautiful restaurant on their large comfortable patio!The owner (who prepared our meals perfectly), and her husband (who was serving today and cleaning, simultaneously) were both very pleasant.The menu is very large and they were great at our preparing our meals, Cheeseburger poutine, and Eggs Benedict Florentine which were both delicious.This place has it all…Atmosphere, Convenience, Quality and Personality. This place is a local gem that you would be foolish to pass on.

This place deserves nothing less than 5 stars. The owner, Chris as well as other staff are amazing people. The food is absolutely top notch. We were on a trip to Severn Bridge and stopped here for brunch. We liked it so much that we stopped here again on our way back and formed a great relationship with the staff.I was really craving a steak and eggs benny, but they didn't have it on the menu. However, Chris was kind enough to do something custom and the result was mouthwatering! They are even considering putting this on the menu long-term!Everything on their menu is delicious. We also tried the poutine, the pancakes, the large breakfast, the Monte Cristo sandwich! Choose something on their menu and you can't go wrong with it.Thanks again for the hospitality folks and we'll see you soon!

Ate brunch here today with a coworker. Service was friendly and prompt, coffee was tasty, and food came very quickly. The large breakfast was hefty, hot and fresh. Homefries were hot and crispy and wonderfully seasoned. Sausage patty was homemade and was absolutely delicious. Overall great food, great service, and lovely atmosphere with all the plants in the restaurant. One of the best mom and pop diners I’ve been too, I highly recommend.
I happened upon Hermie's Diner today when in the area so decided to pop in for a late breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. Friendly and speedy service and good food. Honourable mention goes to the nice crispy rye toast and the sauteed mushrooms and onion hash (no extra charge).Would have given it a 5 out of 5 but I had to go up to get a takeout container and a top off on the coffee - I was a bit rushed so I'm sure the owner would have gotten by for that eventually. I'll definitely be back again and will recommend to family and friends.

Unplanned breakfast today as we waited for our haircuts across the street at Terry’s Barber shop.Classic breakfast was amazing! The home fries that come with grilled onions and mushrooms was such a nice touch along with the fresh fruit.Great satisfying portion sizes as well.

This place is a true small-town gem. Hands down the best breakfast around - food is packed with flavour and cooked with love/care. Owners are always friendly. The dine-in service is impeccable and restaurant atmosphere is very cozy. Whenever we have friends visit from the city we’re sure to grab takeout and highlight how incredible this place is! Nothing compares.I especially love the grilled cheese eggs Benny! A must-try for sure.

Husband and I Love discovering new eats. We enjoy road trips and hit up as many restaurants and diners as possible. With no hesitation we can say that Hermie's Diner was the BEST breakfast we have ever had! The eggs benny ontop of a grilled cheese sandwich was phenomenal! Husbands Large classic Breakfast was on point and the pancake was delicious! We only wished we had more room to eat it all lol definitely coming back! Chris was welcoming and very friendly and his wife can cooks a mean mea! Not to mention how cute the Diner was. GREAT Job! We will be back soon!
