The butter tarts are so good and not overly surgery... so delicious. The pastry is so light. I haven't tried other things yet but there's a steak and mushroom pie in the oven right now. I love that I can get a full size or small one. EDIT: the steak &mushroom pie was very good and I loved the meat pie too. I'll definitely be getting those again.

Kathy's bakery is such a lovely place. So far I've bought peach pie, a key lime pie, a strawberry rhubarb pie, a steak and mushroom meat pie, and raspberry muffins. I am officially addicted! I follow Kathy on facebook, so it's easy for me to place orders for pick up, but she also bakes things for quick sale at her counter, and will post what she has available for the day 😀 I love this lady, and her bakery! Thanks for the delicious treats 😋

We have been to Kathy’s Bakery many times. Everything is delicious and fresh. (I’m eating tiny mincemeat tarts at my desk right now). I always thought my mum made the best short crust pastry, I was wrong, Kathy does!!! She will make pies to order. It’s now our go to for goodies!!

Wanted to support this place. Products are average but very welcoming and a nice experience..Somewhat disappointed in the products I purchased (crumbles, date squares), that were way too sweet and heavy on sugar.

Been in Orillia for approximately 5 years. Thought it would be more reasonably priced than Mariposa but I did not find that it was. I purchased a tray of brownies and would say the value was not great and there was the thinest layer of icing on top. Will make my own next time.

If you have not tried Kathy’s Bakery then you don’t know what your missing. Everything is made with love. Kathy runs a small independent business from home. Everything is homemade from baked goods, muffins to meat pies, jams, pickled beets etc. She wakes up before the crack of dawn and makes everything fresh that day. My favourite are Kathy’s muffins. OMG they are big and oh so good. Give Kathy a try. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. Nothing like homemade.
