Mark IV Brothers is a true gem in Orillia — and undeniably the heart of the city. The space is eclectic, authentic, and inviting, with an atmosphere that feels both laid-back and full of character. Their menu is crafted with care and skill, offering consistently delicious coffee and food. It’s a beloved staple for locals and an essential stop for anyone passing through Orillia!
Had a medium-light roasted Ethiopian in a latte and it was delicious. Plenty of nuttiness and a little fruitiness made it through the milk. Staff were super friendly. You can tell this is a place run by folks that really care about coffee - the perfect kind of obsessive. I drove about 70km from cottage country for a cup of coffee and would do it again.
I've been visiting this cafe since I was in high school, it has only improved it's quality over the years. I love seeing the owners there when they're in store, but am so glad that they are able to have proper staff now! This is the best local cafe with the freshest beans. If you're in Orillia or stopping by, try this instead of Tim's!
