I'm an all season cottager and I wanted pizza. I also wanted to support a local business. So I gave Tops in pizza a try. Great crust, generous toppings, and alot of cheeze. Would order again for sure

I think Tops in Pizza is a very adequate independent pizza place. The menu is vast, the toppings are fresh, and the service is pretty friendly. I hesitate to write this review because small businesses need all the support they can get, but considering the overwhelming love this place already has, I feel there's room for some criticism. Where I think Tops In needs to focus on is their traditional red sauced pizza. Be it from the sauce, to the cheese, to the crust... there's nothing remarkable about this pie. When it comes to the toppings... while the quality is good, the quantity is certainly hit and miss. If you order on a Friday night, have some lower expectations for what comes on top. They do offer a white sauced/garlic based pizza which is pretty good, but even then, it's a pretty niche offering compared to a traditional pizza. And I'll be honest, because of the lackluster quality of that crust, it could still be so much better. The toppings really make or break the pizza here. Just consider that when you're picking what you want on the pizza, and give some direction if you want extra (prepare to pay). If you're looking for a more consistent red sauced pizza, it hurts to say this, but Dominos down the street will be the better choice. Tops In is a pretty inoffensive offering, but in a city that's severely lacking a good independent pizza place, this place ain't it.

We got pizza here to take back to the hotel on a quick stop in Orillia. The staff were very friendly. Got the 14 slice 5 topping Friday night pizza and an 8 slice 2 topping. Normally my boys can eat a Dominoes medium without taking a breath. The crust was delicious and very rich. I gotta say this slowed them down a bit! The crust is almost buttery and so delicious. The cheese was just the right amount and toppings were quality. The 14 slice is very large. There was a bun in each pizza box, nice touch.This place would be my go to pizza if I lived in the area.

I know any local place is a gamble. I decided to get a panzerotti. By definition, a panzo is fried. This was baked. That's fine but I was expecting some great flavour but I got nothing but blah. I also got a sandwich because I was really hungry. The sub was sad. I've had better sandwiches at my high school cafeteria.

We ordered a Pizza and Wings for take out from Tops. The Pizza was excellent and was prepared quickly and was ready when we arrived to pick it up. The wings were good as well. The pricing was very reasonable for such good Pizza. Highly recommend Tops if you are in the Orillia area.
