This restaurant is currently take out only. We dropped by pretty late to get some Chinese food on Monday when not much else was open.
I have to say, the food is mediocre, however it is inexpensive and the portions are large.
In any case, it is one of the places I'm fairly certain I won't come back, even if I'm in the neighborhood.

Thought I would try this place as my usual place closed down. Very disappointing. Egg roll was cold and greasy. Rice was very sticky and bland. Chicken was dry. Never going there again. What a waste of money.

The dinning room not open speaks volume...substitution/good enough is so sad. Three bite size pieces of the star ingredient and a abundance of low cost filler at our convenience. In exchange for hard earned cash? $$$ Bit of advice Royal Oak, never assume. I'm not the one who isn't filling the seats.
The Royal Oak has become our choice for takeout Chinese Food. The food is always fresh and hot and ready at the time specified. They always get the order right. I appreciate the generous 10% discount for cash.

Food was DELICIOUS! BEST Chinese I've had in awhile! Fresh big chicken balls, fresh rice. Very very good chicken low mein with lots of chicken and veggies. Beef and broccoli was a little weird broccoli slightly under cooked and beef kinda wet n hard. Take out only which i kinda hate how all Chinese food places are doing that now, when coming in it was kinda dark and dingy, big plexiglass over where cashiers sit, and tables blocking. Seems like all Chinese food places are doing this now since covid, like get over it that was years ago.

Ordered for my aunt this evening and she was delighted. She loved everything about her meal. I cannot say enough about the staff here, I previously left's review that we had not enjoyed a meal and they worked to make it right. This is a restaurant that clearly cares about it's customers. My sister & I were at Casino Rama for a couple days last week, and just our luck, ALL the restaurants there were closed! We had been craving chinese food, and a quick google search showed the royal oak at the top. We made the drive in and that's when we found out it's take out only. No worries, we ordered anyhow and took it back to our room. So good! Not greasy at all, generous portions, everything tasted fresh. Loved it and we will be back!
