I met a friend for lunch at Sunset Grill yesterday and we had Karissa as our server. She was fantastic!! Very attentive and knowledgeable about the food she serves. Having celiac disease makes it very difficult to eat out and Karissa ensured us that they could accommodate this without cross contamination. The food was delicious, served in a timely manner and we both enjoyed our lunch very much! Thanks so much, Karissa!

We visited last weekend as a family of three. Overall, this place is well known for its breakfast, and it did not disappoint. We ordered three breakfast dishes—the portions were generous, and the food was delicious. The main issue we noticed was the service and seating. Our table was placed very close to another table, and I had difficulty fitting in, even though there were many available tables elsewhere in the restaurant. Another service concern was how the utensils were provided. They were placed directly on a napkin and set on the table, which meant the utensils were touching the table surface. This did not feel very hygienic.

Sunset Grill is our go-to restaurant for a hardy delicious breakfast. I enjoy crispy bacon and it's always done to my liking, the homefries (real potatoes, not those frozen ones) are awesome, especially with onion ! Service is excellent; Karissa should be the Poster Girl of Sunset Grill, she is super friendly with an infectious smile and you never have to ask for a coffee top-up. Both she and Halie create the best atmosphere and make everyone feel right at home! Thanks guys, can't wait to come back !

Mediocre at best. Three tables came in after us, yet we were last to be served. I ordered Eggs Benny. What I got were 3 fried eggs with hollandaise spread all over. I'll stick to my usual go to Restaurant in Orillia for breakfast from now on.
