If you are looking for a little treat whether it be a fresh baked cookie, pie, cake, square or donut this is you place. My personal favourite is their Texas Skor donut which is a meal in itself. In the market for a cookie, the kids favourites are the chocolate chip or sugar cookies while my husband goes crazy for their peanut butter cookies which always includes pieces of peanuts. Not looking for something sweet then try their baked breads, tea biscuits or assortment of freshly baked buns. There is also a wide associated of sandwiches, quiches and casseroles including many Keto friendly options. And just when you think you are done, there is an amazing candy store in the basement. Definitely don’t go if you are on a diet ?
Amazing baked goods! I had an assortment of their desserts. Every single one was fantastic. Can’t go wrong. My favourite is their crispy peanut butter cups & cookie sandwich’s. I have not had anything like the peanut butter cups before. Looking forward to my next visit. We have also order cakes from the shop and they’re delicious and beautiful. Thank you!
Sweet Time Bake Shoppe earns five stars not just for its irresistibly cute aesthetics, but also for the consistent quality of its pastries, the warm, inviting atmosphere, and the sheer joy it brings with every visit.
Unexpected find with this old fashioned main street shopping and eating experience! There should be a sign out front that says "Come in & Get Lost". The Mariposa Market can be traced all the way back to 1859, and the inside look and fixtures look like they are dated back then. Its like taking a step back in time and enjoying an old fashioned eating and shopping experience. In this 1911 heritage building you'll find a bakery, two bustling cafes and two unique shops where you’ll find local syrup and honeys along with preserves and chutneys and so much more. We had a delicious carrot cake muffin and 2 cappacinos for $15 (not cheap but delicious)
Stopped here for a coffee and a pastry with my family from the UK and we were all pleased with our choices. My brother is normally very critical of Canadian baked goods but he was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the muffins and cakes. My only complaint is that it’s a bit of a zoo up at the counter, I would prefer table service.
The whoopie cookies are delicious and all Veronica bakes is enough to cure my sweet tooth crave
This market is a going concern. Lots of different products to look and or choice from. Different types of food to go. Breads, buns, cakes, jams. Or if you have a sweet tooth, there is plenty of items you can buy. There is a great selection of household items as well.
It is my mums 67th birthday today, and we took her here for the first time, it’s so beautiful in there and really has a wow factor. However - the older brown haired lady behind the counter was more than unpleasant; so much so that my brother had to say something to her and he never speaks up. People have bad days - but you can’t snap at customers the way she did. Also the donuts were nice but the sausage rolls are just hotdogs wrapped in puff pastry - if you’ve a UK background don’t get them!
Came to orillia for a concert, visit on Good Friday. This place is amazing. Great food, great deserts, staff are right on. It’s a gem. Everyone who goes to orillia has to visit
Came in for an early lunch/ quick bite while in Orillia today. We enjoyed a cheese and ham sandwich/ melt, a grilled vegetable sandwich/ melt and a strawberry, spinach, blueberry and pecan salad. All at$7.99 each. We couldn’t finish each item so packed it up to take home. The counter server was friendly and efficient. There isn’t a debit tip option so I gave a cash one after we had eaten what we could. Will stop by next time. Thank you.

We hired Sweet Time Bake Shoppe in Dec. 2022 to bake our wedding cake and they did a fantastic job.Owner Victoria Ignoto, who is incredibly busy running her bakery, made us feel like we were her priority. She was always available to answer questions and provide her expertise to offer suggestions. Our wedding was a Christmas theme, and Victoria nailed it when it comes to the holiday flavours and designs we were hoping for. Our ideas and vision for our cake and cupcakes was truly brought to life by Victoria who is a true professional. The baked goods arrived to our wedding venue for exactly when we asked for them to be delivered. They were a hit with our guests who were asking us for the rest of the night where they could get more the next day.The icing on the cake is knowing that putting money into Sweet Time Bake Shoppe is putting money back into the community. Through her business, Victoria supports and donates to countless charities and local sports teams in town. Victoria has a heart of gold and is one of the very best humans I’ve ever met in my life.
