Tent Kitchen + Wine Bar Reviews
Apologies to everyone else dining near us, that was the sound of my fork scraping every last bite off the plate! This was hands down one of the best meals I’ve had in ages.

You feel pampered from the moment you step in the door. Very creative menu. A hidden gem!
We had the jalapeño poppers, chicken wings, spicy shrimp linguine, crème brûlée. All of which was an absolute 10 out of 10. Everything made from scratch and you can see the pride taken when your food arrives. A little pricey, but you will not be disappointed. You must make reservations

The restaurant's ambiance is enhanced by great jazz music, and the service is noted for being pleasant and attentive. The owner and chef engage with customers, ensuring a sincere dining experience. Although the restaurant is located in an old gas station, efforts have been made to create a welcoming atmosphere. The venue may not look impressive from the outside, but it surprises diners with its quality food and service. Visitors praise the fresh, homemade rosemary focaccia and the incredible chef. The menu features dishes like hand-rolled gnocchi and flavorful pork steak, accompanied by fresh seasonal vegetables. Many reviewers say the food is a "work of art" and a "blast of flavor," with knowledgeable and friendly servers. The chef's skills are highly appreciated.
The restaurant is tucked away on Simcoe County Rd 169 in Orillia. Customers describe the experience as exemplary, especially noting the friendly service and the incredible flavor of mains that sound brunch-like but are elevated. The food includes the shave prime rib sandwich and open-faced omelette, and the side salad is often highlighted as the best part. Inside, the restaurant is comfortable with great AC and clean washrooms.
Diners also enjoy the brunch offerings such as Tent's Fried Chicken and Waffles, which feature crispy skin and juicy meat, and the prime rib sandwich with tasty chimichurri sauce and good bread. Lemon Ricotta Pancakes have a strong lemon flavor, and fried dough balls served with caramel are a delightful surprise. Though service can be a bit slow, the prices are good value for the quality of food. The place is casual and simple, making it a great spot for tasty brunches that won't hurt the wallet.
