Absolutely one of our very favourite restaurants anywhere! We've been semi-regulars at Theo's for around fifteen years now, and every single visit has been consistently excellent. The food is prepared in-house - which definitely makes a huge difference - and everything we've had here has been unbelievably good. The chicken souvlaki, the veal cutlet, the steak sandwich, any of the baked pasta dishes, the Greek salad, the coconut curry shrimp...the list of fantastic dishes goes on. It's obvious from the appearance & taste of the meals that the people in the kitchen really care and they clearly enjoy what they're doing - a real plus! Service is always prompt & friendly...and the food always arrives HOT, not just warm. Note that reservations, especially for dinner, are strongly advised - it's worth a quick phone call to ensure that you get a table.
Now that so many places have gone the corporate route, with predictable chain restaurants littering the landscape with their mediocre factory food, trucked in and assembled/re-heated (but not actually prepared on site), a place like Theo's becomes even more likeable. This restaurant is a Genuine Treasure, and always worth the drive to Orillia...from wherever you are. My highest possible recommendation.

Had a late lunch with some family, it was amazing as usual. I had grilled chicken, it was such a hearty portion that there was more than enough for lunch the next day. Definately worth the trip from Innisfil!

Very impressed. Waitresses were great. Good vegetarian selection. Dessert was too good! We were a noisy group of 13 and the staff handled us perfectly!
Vegetarian options: Lots! Roasted veggie wrap was wonderful.

Our friends had raved about Theo's, so we came for our anniversary with our son, very much looking forward to it. Ordered spanakopita and bruschetta and a couple of drinks, followed by steak, lamb chops and a kid's meal. The whole experience was shockingly average, especially for the $130 bill we ended up with. The place was packed and I'm assuming the servers were short staffed, so we barely saw our server. Tasted straight out of a diner: almost no flavour to the meat, undercooked potatoes, soggy veggies, half-baked appies. We took 3 or 4 bites, then called it a night. Our server came to the table, saw that we had barely eaten anything, and asked if we wanted dessert. No inquiry to see if maybe they've been a problem with the meal, just the bill. Nothing special at all about the whole thing. Sounds like a lot of people have had positive experiences so maybe you'll get lucky, but we won't be back.
Had dinner on a Friday evening. Staff were amazing! Restaurant was full - sign of good food and service - so on the louder side. The food was excellent - bruschetta, chicken parm, lasagna and apple crumble with ice cream. Highly recommend. Will go back.
