ANMOL INDIAN CUISINE - takeout and catering

I really wish I read the reviews before ordering from here. The chicken tastes like it came out of a can of Campbells soup it does not taste like chicken at all. The portion was a joke and the taste was horrible. This restaurant needs to change the meat it’s using. I have never given such a bad review for a restaurant and I have never had such terrible food.

This is my second time ordering from Uber Eats, and once again I had a bad experience with the food. The food smells really bad, as if the same oil is being used for both non-veg and veg items. The last time I ordered, it was the same issue — poor hygiene, bad food quality, and poor packaging. It seems like the staff don’t change their gloves and the oil hasn’t been replaced for a long time. Please improve your food safety and hygiene standards.

Very Tasty & Affordable Food

Either this place severally overcharges, or is misleading with their buy 1 get 1 on Uber. There's no way one of these plastic containers has 22$ worth of food. It's 60% rice and has 6 small pieces of chicken.

Do yourself a favor and get Rangoli instead. For the same price The whole container will actually be curry, and it tastes better.

I don't think I've ever said this about a restaurant, but I feel like I pretty much got scammed.

Excellent food that is truly unique. They even respected our request for no plastic cutlery.

Ordered the dinner for 2 take out and couldn't be happier with our meals. The food was absolutely delicious and the portions were perfect with enough for leftovers. I would highly recommend this take away spot 10/10 would order again.

As good as some of the best sit-down Indian restaurants in Ottawa .

All the food preparation is delicious

I ordered what was supposed to be chaat papdi, but this was nothing like it. The dish was missing yogurt completely, which is a key ingredient. Instead, all I got was a plate full of soggy papdi drowned in an overwhelming amount of green chili sauce. There was no balance of flavors—just spice and a mess of textures. It was barely edible.

If you're expecting authentic chaat with the right mix of flavors—tangy, creamy, and crispy—this is NOT the place to go. Definitely not worth the money. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Save your time and eat somewhere else!

Can't wait to come back. And try what I ordered. Problem was I ordered curry chicken and got butter chicken. Was good just not what I wanted. Hopefully I can change my 2 star to something better

The samosa chaat was only half done. Just the samosa, onion and mint. So i paid $10 just for 2 samosa and chutney.

Excellent Indian takeout. Food was a little spicier than expected but delicious.
