This establishment is a huge blessing on the beach of Petrie Island. Ignore the ridiculous whiners with negative reviews here, lots of entitled civil servants in Ottawa with zero clue or respect for business or work for that matter.

I enjoyed the music the beach atmosphere and that I can have a beer or a cocktail and food . J*** chicken poutine and J*** chicken dinner are my favorites . Can't wait for 2021 . I highly recommend this .

Very flavourful j*** chicken dinner ,the j*** chicken poutine is one of my favorites sinfully delicious . The six specialty flavours of guava passionfruit , coconut pineapple , mango , coconut , rum and raisin and mango pineapple are so tasteful and easily addictive . My favorite is coconut pineapple guava pineapple are excellent . I learned that they are made with the natural juices . Live DJ on the weekends that just adds to the beach atmosphere with the umbrellas tables and chairs , takes me back to the Caribbean .

Waited almost an hour for 2 hot dogs. Service was horrible and sassy. Cooks said “seriously?” when we asked for a knife. They yell the numbers out VERY aggressively and do not care about the customers experience in the dining area.OH AND the ice cream shack can’t even put ice cream on a cone and therefore you must accept the ice cream in a cup with a cone on top of it. Can’t remember your order after you say it so you’ll have to repeat it again.Just a little heated after this experience.

Cute little snack bar by the beach. Unfortunately, it takes them an average of 20 minutes to produce a single "dish" (can it possibly ever take that long to make a poutine????). They don't even try to pretend to care about customer service... And all this for very average food. Too bad. The drinks were quick and tasty though so focus on the bar part.

They have a few new staff members, very nice & polite staff. New cook, Joanne, is awesome, her poutine & fries are amaze! Barmaid, Cara is real sweet, and Bree is an attribute at the cash & grill earlier in the day. They even have board games to play while you enjoy your drink, a meal...then ice cream too. We will go back for sure!

This is without a doubt the best beachside bar in Ottawa. Unlike Mooney's Bay there's always plenty of room Quick Service and just the most incredible views. Not to mention music all the time!

My mom and I ordered 1 jumbo hot dog to split between the two of us. It took OVER 20 minutes for us to receive the ONE hot dog (there was only one other table with people).We received our hot dog and the bun was stale. The ketchup bottle completely empty.
