New years and extremely busy. Service was great food ready on time I ordered to pick up wich was great. My concern being new years eve I did not question the price. But it was $150 more then I normally pay. Some how I was chargred for more then what I ordered. I got 4 more extra eggrolls wich I did not order but was charged for and got. Also the chicken chow mein was extrelmly watery

Today is Christmas and for years I have been getting from Jumbo but this year thought we should try something new and ordered the Dinner for 4, an extra chicken fried rice for $5, extra egg roll and spare ribs and all came up to $96 tax in and fed 6 adults and 3 kids, it was reliably good. 5 stars

I visited Charlie Chan this weekend, and the experience was… interesting, to say the least.
I ordered Combo #2 (chicken chow mein, BBQ pork, and shrimp fried rice) with an open-ended egg roll on the side. What I actually received was confusing. The chicken chow mein was substituted with chicken and bean sprouts.. no noodles at all. That was already very disappointing.
The BBQ pork was overcooked, the portions were really small, and definitely not what I’m used to. At Asian Wok, they usually have trouble closing the lid because there’s so much food. Here, it felt like the opposite.
And the egg roll? Instead of the one open-ended egg roll I ordered, I was given a box of 12 cold spring rolls that I had to heat up myself. She never told me it was a box, and I absolutely didn’t ask for a dozen frozen spring rolls. They tasted fine, but that’s not what I ordered, and it was very disappointing.
Overall, I can’t recommend this place. Random substitutions, tiny portions, and poor communication about what you’re actually getting.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would.

Ordered Beefsteak with Tomato. Not satisfying at all. There is Ginger root in it! I love me some beef with tomato but I am unfortunately not a fan of ginger and have never had it prepared this way. Also other food we ordered was tasteless and bland.

I ordered 2 egg rolls & a combo meal. The location is good, parking is available and it's only a takeout place.
My egg rolls weren't as crispy as I would have liked for them to be and I didn't feel they were that flavorful. My combo was supposed to have General Tao chicken+fried rice and chicken balls. The chicken balls were perfect. The chicken...it was light instead of the darker colour that general Tao usually would be. I don't know if it was some other type of chicken but I didn't love grilled chicken with sweet sauce on it. It wasn't crispy ...it wasn't general Tao 🤷 I probably could have enjoyed that if I had some chilli oil or hot sauce which this establishment claimed they did not have any 🤷 Every single Chinese resto has hot chilli oil or sauce or Sriracha but when I asked for it she said they have powder and that's it.
I'm disappointed but it was not bad. It just wasn't what I expected.

The old guy at the counter was rude going on and on how the debit card people are thieves. I got an order of whole sale egg rolls and he got pissed that I didn’t have cash and he proceeded to charge me for using the debit machine and charged me another fee for my actual order what a dick. I told him it’s the price of doing business and he went on and on about how they are thieves. How can they be thieves if we are paying for the use of the machine. The food was the worst Chinese food I have had in a long time. They are just pissed that there is a paper trail. Never going back.

Was working besides charlie chan’s today. Charlie chan came out and came to talk to me was very nice. I ordered General tso chicken and it was so good. Every thing is freshly made and tasted so good. When i got my plate it was still sizzling. Would 100% recommend.

Got 25 egg rolls, hardly nothing inside the egg roll maybe and only maybe half full. I just moved to Orleans and first time going and last time.
