Their poutine is 100%. I've been going there since I was a kid. Also, their prices are good and affordable. The only thing I'd have to say would be if you store your poutine for later, the Styrofoam containers stick to the food, and that's not fun. But, good food! OH AND CASH ONLY!

The food they serve is a great example of the theory that the worse the outside the better the food. It seems like they haven't updated the building in 15 years but for $16 you could buy the best poutine you've ever eaten and feed a family of 4. They have great prices for the amount of food and the quality of food.

I moved to Rockland when I use to live walking distance from frito. I still make the drive into town to grab poutine instead of going to the 2 chip trucks in Rockland. The quality is just unmatched. Gravy is very easy to digest and doesn’t feel like a rock in your gut like golden fries and others around. The fries are still crispy and fantastic even when I bring it home to Rockland (25min drive). Best chip truck in ottawa hands down. Also, the staff are always smiling and seem happy to be doing what they do. They must take lots of pride in how awesome their food is.
