Went to the Petrie location on 08/14 and paid $18 for a weak rum mango smoothie... I didn't appreciate the cashier helping herself to a tip without giving me the opportunity myself, which I always do (instead of giving me $4 back, she only gave me $2). She must hate it when people pay with a card since she can't automatically give herself extra. I'm hoping she at least shared it with the bartender who actually made the drink. Icky entitled behaviour... Disappointing

Amazing summer spot! Doesn’t feel like you’re right outside of Ottawa! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Frozen cocktails add to the experience making it feel like you’re beachside down south. Very clean and well kept! Friend got the Baja burger and can attest it is really is one of the best in the Ottawa area!

Over priced. Asked for a kids meal was over charged for a large fry and burger. Beef tacos for 6$ are very small made with hamburger meat no taco seasoning. Would pack a picnic next time for sure.
Finally a spot on the beach that sells food and alcohol! Good vibes with the music playing, lots of tables to eat at and umbrellas out for shade. Highly recommend trying any of their burgers with the “Baja” sauce!

Burger was dry, the frozen fries I saw then put in the fryer came out mushy.
Oh and they “only” sell the kids burger with fries… not a fan of that.

Food is pretty good if they happen to be open which seems like never. We come to Petrie often and most of the time, the restaurant isn’t open despite the hours listed online. Last time my husband ended up calling and they sent someone over to open it.
