I am writing to formally complain about a very serious experience at Mac’s Sushi at Place d’Orléans today at 5:17 PM.
I brought my two daughters and myself for dinner. I paid $50 in cash and $10.08 on a Visa card. Unfortunately, the raw tuna tasted extremely off the moment we bit into it. It had a very unpleasant taste that immediately raised concern.
By 8:35 PM, we barely made it home as all three of us became violently ill, experiencing clear symptoms of food poisoning. Something was seriously wrong with the fish that was served to us. This has been an absolutely awful and frightening experience, especially as a parent.
We have never felt this sick from eating out, and this situation is completely unacceptable. I am extremely concerned not only about our health, but about the safety of other customers as well.
I am requesting: • An urgent response • Compensation for this meal and for how we are feeling • Confirmation that this issue will be investigated immediately
Please contact me as soon as possible to resolve this matter.

Super fresh sushi made daily. They are very nice ever time i stop by, if they had a full resteraunt id head there over the other sushi spots in ottawa. Every time im in thr mall i have to stop and grab some !

Probably the best pre packaged sushi places I've tried. I wasn't sure what to expect when I first tried this a few weeks ago, but have definitely gone back a few times since. I wish there was more rice and less lettuce in the poke bowls, but that's my only criticism. Absolutely will be back for more sushi!

The food quality has really went down. I usually love their sushi but the sushi I purchased recently had a really bland rice and the fish tasted off. I bought it fairly early during lunch so it wasn’t old or anything. I hope this is just a one off.

I asked for a salmon poke bowl with rice and I paid more for that. It looked delicious but was not. It was one of my worst experiences. I didn't like the way that their chef made it even when I told him what I didn't want in my dish he put it there and they said that's how we served!
