Skimpy portions at any price, and their's are extreme. No hoisin or hot sauce too. I guess one has to select 'extra' sauce (and pay extra) to get any at all.

I've had pho in most cities in canada and in numerous places across the globe. Honestly this is the best bowl of pho I've ever had. Absolutely delicious, I am blown away every time. Worth making the trip from downtown Ottawa.Food: 5/5

Worst pho I’ve ever gotten in Ottawa. Ordered from Uber Eats their largest size and received a hockey puck size of cold noodles and three pieces of beef that was not rare and very thin.Would never recommend ordering pho from here.

Wow, their pad thai, salad rolls and spring rolls are better than Thai Chili restaurant in Orleans. Much more tastier and less expensive. Their Shrimp Red Curry is out of this world. Our family will continue to go at Pho Truck Lien on St Joseph. Best place. Wonderful fresh food always very good service. Make you feel welcome and always polite. Family owned business and have been going there for years. ❤

Extremely disappointed with this restaurant. We ordered takeout and explained the amount of people in the household. For $100 worth of food the portion size was incredibly small. When calling they said post a review about how I feel therefore here I am posting a review. The taste of everything was horrible as well, I hope everyone will read this before considering ordering from this establishment.

WORST "Vietnamese" food I've ever had.My wife and I ordered for takeout and was told the wait would be an hour. I ordered the "Bun Bo Hue" in which the girl taking our order refered to as the oriental soup. I should've hung up then and there but we wanted to give them a shot.If you see the pictures, I received a toddler size serving of noodles and meat. Furthermore, this is the wrong type of noodles and meat for bun Bo hue. The soup was also incorrect; just a generic lemongrass tasting broth. My wife ordered the beef vermicelli and received the same toddler serving of noodles and few slivers of dry meat. 3/4 of the meal was beansprouts and cabbage; awesome if you are vegan I suppose.I hate bashing restaurants but this was an EXTREMELY sad, disappointing and overpriced meal. I almost feel offended we received what we did. I honestly don't even think the owner is Vietnamese based on what they serve.

Great location with quality food and very good prices, the owner and his wife are super friendly and they serve the best Vietnamese food in Ottawa

…Of the reviews that “people” post. I know everyone has a different level of interest in the food they eat, but when people claim to be regular consumers of Vietnamese cuisine and then give this 4 or 5 stars there are only two explanations: 1- these unfortunate folks have had their palates disconnected from their brains as a little result of a vicious motor vehicle accident 2- they are posting this because they’re friends or family members. Ordered pork spring rolls that were banal in the extreme except for the oil in which they were fried which imparted an ugly bitterness because it was old. The sweet and sour chicken bean sprout soup ($9 for a small) was a styrofoam bowl(?) stuffed with beansprouts and almost no broth. It was almost literally nothing but steamed veg and 95% beansprouts. It was merciful that there were only three meagre pieces of chicken because these slices of chicken breast tasted of the fridge and was at least two days old. Just disgusting and one of the worst price/ quality ratios I’ve come across in a decade. Stay away if you’re experienced in Vietnamese cuisine.

I was very disappointed with the portions. I ordered pad thai, spring rolls, and Rangoon (crab with cream cheese wonton) The pad Thai came in medium container half filled, with a little noodles- consisted of mostly mushy sprouts and maybe 2 flat pieces of chicken. The wontons were a joke. Very small, barely any stuffing and absolutely no crab. My spouse and I finished and were still hungry after spending 74 dollars on skip the dishes. This will be the last time we order from here.

The best pho in Orleans and the kindest business owners I’ve ever encountered. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, whether you’re picking up your order or dining in (pre-pandemic - they unfortunately aren’t offering dine-in service ATM). One of our favourite places in Ottawa.

This is my absolute favourite pho restaurant! The family that owns it is absolutely some of the nicest and caring people I have even met. Not to mention that the food here is so good! Highly recommend giving this restaurant a try:)

This is our favourite Vietnamese restaurant in Canada. We’ve never had a bad meal here and love that it’s cozy and not noisy like most places. It’s a family owned business and the owners are very hospitable. I recommend the all day lunch special with beef and vermicelli….while you’re at it be sure to order some extra spring rolls… they’re delicious!!!

Food is always delicious. Even their non Vietnamese dishes like Pad Thai and General Tao Chicken (especially if you like it spicy) are the best in Ottawa. They are one of our favourite restaurants.
